Yep. Think one year is likely.
Hope not he should now pack in.

I agree …. and I think he will get another year !He's 36 this year and never fit. No way we should be spending any more money on him. We're Skint FC not Sentimental FC.
Player coach...getting him showing our full backs how to cross.
What's the alternative though? We can't buy a decent player, the best we can hope is another Ashley Young for free or Godfrey pretending to be a football player. I would rather keep Seamus. He's 36 this year and never fit. No way we should be spending any more money on him. We're Skint FC not Sentimental FC.

Very much so,Kind Sir.I was rather hoping we could bring in a full back to show him how to cross.
"I'd rather have Tom Davies back"....that's a flex.I'd genuinely rather get Tom Davies back on a free to cover than waste any more money.
What use is full-back cover that's never available?

He'll almost certainly have to coach before he gets a managerial post. He'd like to retire but the right back position at Everton is cursed, we've been unable to find someone capable of taking over from him so he keeps dragging himself in to try to help the club he loves. The disrespect some people give him is unreal.
When he retires from playing he has ambitions to be a manager not a coach so the shouts that he'll be given a "jobs for the boys" coaching job for life at Everton are a bit strange.
