Seamus Coleman

No for me. He's a average defender and costs us goals on a regular basis.

RK seems to build his teams on a solid defence. Coleman could be under pressure for his place imo

You're wrong, and Coleman will remain one of the first names on the teamsheet for the forseeable. Luckily, Koeman watches football and doesn't pay heed to the demented chatter of forum posters who automatically start hating a player once they age past 25

I agree.
I still love Jags, despite some ropey games, too.
And Williams.
Baines desperately needs some consistent games.
A new GK is a priority imo Prev my mate

Getting worried about Baines. Getting injured a bit now, lost some pace and confidence and really needs a run of games to show he still has it. Which I'm sure he does. Jags was woefully exposed in the last few games, he'll need some more time to grow his partnership with Williams. On his way out, but I think he can still do a job for us over the course of a season. Next year, we really need to start looking for the new Jags. Stek is alright, but I'm sure we can do better

Let's wat and see then
But I'm entitled to my opinion. And I'm not the type fan that falls in love with a player, just because he gives his all and only cost us 60k

I see A players who's an average defender. And 8 times of 10 when he gets in good position, smashes the ball into the box as hard as he can. Very little composure or finesse.

Ive been saying it for 18months.

Not that I think Coleman is a bad player. He's a good player, but massively overrated by a lot of fans
He was probably the best RB in England in Martinez's first season, then, like the other defensive players, he went to pieces. In the Austrian game he looked every bit the player from 3 seasons ago. It takes time to undo the mess Martinez made of things. I hope baines can find some fitness and form on the other side because when these two are both doing well at the same time, Everton do well.

Coleman's defending has been top notch since returning to the team. Was all over the place for Hazard's first goal but everyone personified excrement that game.
