He's not the greatest crosser agreed but I love the goal threat he brings and his link up play is good. I think Seamus has been off the mark this season due to following Roberto's instructions, also the stick the defence is getting because of the number of goals we are conceding can't be doing his confidence any good.

Al our defenders are off the mark with Roberto as manager (rather like Moyes destroyed strikers, Martinez makes previously good defenders look crap)

Thought that last year tbh, people don't seem to realize how utterly impressive that back 4 is, should be one of the best in the league,.

He's ours and he gets what being Everton is all about.

God Bless you Seamus!!!

Seamus Coleman makes very generous donation to help young fan with rare genetic condition

Not for the first time, Seamus Coleman has proved that he is just as exemplary off the pitch as he is on the pitch.
In the past, the Everton defender has show a willingness to help people in need. Last May he donated £5000 pounds to help former Derry city striker Mark Farren in his battle with a brain tumour. Sadly, Farren has since passed away but Coleman is still trying to do all he can to help others.

Young fan Daire Flanagan was born with a rare genetic condition known as Apert Syndrome. His parents were initially told he wouldn't survive 48 hours but now the Everton fan is six years old and doing well.

A campaign was set up to fly Flanagan, who can only travel by Air Ambulance, over to an Everton game and Coleman donated £5000 to help make the journey possible.

Coleman spoke about his decision on the Everton website:

"I read Daire's story online and would love to help get him his trip to Goodison next season. I hope that [my donation] can help get Daire and his family a safe trip to Liverpool. Looking forward to seeing you at a game next season."
