2017/18 Seamus Coleman

He's probably going to be in and out quite a bit between now and the end of the season. Most players tend to pick up muscular tweaks and strains as their bodies readjust to the stress of going full pelt again after such a long time out of action.

"Seamus Coleman, we hope, will be fit very quickly and, if we can get Phil Jagielka and Leighton Bainesback in the squad quickly, then we are stronger in terms of our selection."

Sounds pretty worrying. Same as with Baines back in November talking in riddles and not giving any real estimation of a return date. Guess he'll be out a while then.
He said "very quickly".....

You've gone in a very different direction there.

It's difficult not to love Seamus and he's clearly the best and most passionate player we've had for years, but what do people think it means in realistic terms for Jonjoe Kenny? Do you think he bides his time for 4-5 years and then when Seamie retires, he's 25 ish he then nails down the place? It's hard to imagine him sticking around for so long

With him at RB we might start going places. Doubt if Baines will make it any time soon, he has been out too long. But at least Cuco at LB is improving. Apart from Siggy the midfield is total crap.
