The problem is if you are going to lump balls forward, you need to push the midfield players up in order to win the second ball and have players that can break with pace.
We possessed very little of either. McNeil has probably been a big miss because he can occasionally produce a moment of magic
So you'd say that it would be reasonable to play a different way that adapts to what we do have? Dyche didn't adapt, so I am sincerely hoping Moyes may.

Still no current Everton players sending their thanks to the ex-miracle worker gaffer?

I just don’t understand it, do they know about this thread?
It'll all come out in the wash, mate. I guarantee you Coleman will be gracious and complimentary of him. And he's one of only a very small number of players in the squad whose word carries any weight.

When Moyes gets more wins that Dyche in what is left of the season will that be enough to put Dyche in the past and stop people fawning back over his tenure...

Vault this, Moyes gets equal to or more wins in the next 19 than Dyche had in the last 40 (8), with the same players!

Moyes has forgotten more than Dyche will ever know. Appreciate he kept us up but you really think he was going to make us better?

For 18 months, total respect, got us through a hugely difficult period in our history. I won't ever forget that.

For the following six 6 months that there was any remote sort of expectation levels on him, absolutely not, it was pathetic.
