With an incredible easy schedule that he botched, leaving the new manager with one of the toughest schedules left in the league. Getting 17 points from the next 19 is a tougher job than the 17 from the first 19.

It's all relative.

The others below us have a tougher job than that.

Honestly saved us from nailed on relegation when he came in that January and defyed all odds keeping us up.

For that alone, i'll forever be thankful.

Let's put it this way: if I were Ipswich or Leicester Ild sack their manager and hire Dyche.

Let's hope they dont.
Yeah if he went to Ipswich he would make them players who have come from league look like they belong back in league 1.

I mean he has PL players here look like league 1 players

Good riddance I’m soooo happy this fraud has gone

The football wasn't great and he is certainly limited going foreward but he did some wonders at times with such a poor squad with low morale.

The quality of the signings he has to work with bar maybe two have been poor.

It was clearly time to go but some posters on here are deluded of their expectations of the players and manager right now. Very Limited funds, poor squad but still expecting us to be placed in the top 10, no chance sorry.

Respect to their feller.

He came into a basket case headed for the Championship and saved us.
He did.

I have no ill will against him. I thank him for what he did. He was the right tool for the job at the time.

I do feel we needed a change though.

It is, and to me its relative to the fact I think he quit this year. If he did his best thats fine, but if he wanted the sack, as it appeared to me he did, thats where I lose respect.

And its only 1 team below us with a tougher job, Ipswich. The others have easier schedules and are right there.

I was strangely more confident for Villa and Spurs at home than I was for Forest. They could have been the perfect games for a counter pressing Everton coming off a cup win to have played. He also missed the opportunity to play Liverpool when we’d just sparked Wolves and they’d drawn at Newcastle. Small margins for a team that has always had momentum in results both positive and negative.

Recent form had been undoubtedly poor but didn’t look like he’d lost the players and still above the relegation zone with a game in hand despite injuries and and bad form.

I am hoping the new owners back the new manager with some signings because if we get this appointment wrong and we see football reminiscent of Benitez and Lampard’s last days when players had coneltlely given up then I hope we don’t regret this.

Deserved respect for what he managed last season. But less so this season, his interviews make me respect him less most of the time! Seems in denial of just how bad we are sometimes

I respect him for being our manager over the points deduction season and getting us through that but I don't respect how it's gone this season, we have been horrible to watch.
