I wanted him at the time as we needed his type of grit, we were in dire straights - but not for the long term that is clear.

Grateful, very, very grateful for him keeping us up with that squad and spend

If only he could tap in to what ever he did when we went on one of the runs under him - we only ever seemed to play ctap for months, have a 3 week purple patch and then drop off again.

Let's put it this way: if I were Ipswich or Leicester Ild sack their manager and hire Dyche.

Let's hope they dont.
I’m sure their respective Boards are salivating at the prospect of hiring Sean “3 wins all season and scoring in 2 of his last 10 matches” Dyche to help them battle relegation. Let’s see who’s clamouring to take him on now he’s available, eh? A total busted flush, bottom feeder who has been massively found out. Good riddance.

I'd like to know how much they've had to pay to him to get him out.

...and if that means TFG will get spend even less with this PSR in place.

My thoughts are well knows, but said right after he was sacked:

Said it on Monday the job was untenable after the Potter leak on Monday, there was no other decision after that.

Very grateful for what he did and the outcomes he achieved in the two years here - keeping us in the league in very adverse circumstances.

Thanks Sean, the above won’t be forgotten and always appreciated! ;)

Lets assume we have paid him 3m.

Thats 1.5 League places, so if the new fella takes us to 14, that means it was money well spent.

I was strangely more confident for Villa and Spurs at home than I was for Forest. They could have been the perfect games for a counter pressing Everton coming off a cup win to have played. He also missed the opportunity to play Liverpool when we’d just sparked Wolves and they’d drawn at Newcastle. Small margins for a team that has always had momentum in results both positive and negative.
Recent form had been undoubtedly poor but didn’t look like he’d lost the players and still above the relegation zone with a game in hand despite injuries and and bad form.I am hoping the new owners back the new manager with some signings because if we get this appointment wrong and we see football reminiscent of Benitez and Lampard’s last days when players had coneltlely given up then I hope we don’t regret this.

That's the biggest business gamble these Texans will ever make

I hope they realise just what they've done here and that if they get the next choice of manager wrong they'll be finished here and losing a lot of cash.

His aim was to keep us up and that was what he did. He was very limited and it got stale quick.

Feels a bit tasteless the official statement didn't even say thanks or good luck etc.

Could have at least had this game, but then again we don't know what's going on.

At least he got an extra years pay if that's to be believed?

It is, and to me its relative to the fact I think he quit this year. If he did his best thats fine, but if he wanted the sack, as it appeared to me he did, thats where I lose respect.

And its only 1 team below us with a tougher job, Ipswich. The others have easier schedules and are right there.
So you base your respect on something you completely make up and can have no real idea about whatsoever?

There's been plenty of legitimate criticisms of Dyche and this season has been abject but I really can't remember a manager at this club who has had more criticism based on things just made up in people's heads.

Still gets the respect from me for the difficult task last season and circumstances surrounding the club since he’s been here. But am I glad he’s gone poor manager talks total rubbish was so happy the Xg shout wasn’t making too much noise this season
