2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I`m not reactionary, 1 draw against Newcastle does nothing to alter the fact that Dyche has to go... he has had more than enough chances! More than most other managers at other PL clubs would get.

6 wins in the last 27 games and 27 points from the last 81 available!!! How is anyone still having this guy, he is League 1/Championship at best, 1 dimensional and out dated.

Sean has managed us for 62 games now, nearly 2 seasons equivalent, despite the turnover of players nothing has changed, no progression whatsoever, still knocking it long to an isolated Dom.... The guy is clueless like anyone that tries to defend him.

Agree. No one can cpnvince me that some other manager couldnt make this lot play better. Heard a story yesterday and Dyche knows he's a goner. Imho that is dangerous position. We cannot trust a manager who knows he will be axed. So the sooner the axe swings the better.

Thought we were a touch lucky as they had chances. But we should have had a penalty. And Doucoure goal. So a point overall was ok considering injuries. Harrison poor. But its the bare minimum. I think a better manager is getting more from the team. Deli Ali our only hope….🫤

Were battered at Fulham last away game and Wolves dominated for 75 and then threw it away. Struggled to beat Wimbledon in tge week.

They've not played well this season especially away. Were OK last night but no cutting edge without Isak.

Think they would have murdered us with Isak - I remember him taking Godfrey and Keane to the cleaners at Goodison.

Take the point all day (thanks Jordan!) with a defence containing Keane, Young ang jimmy Garner at rb (who did very well), but I feel we could have had so much more from the game, and with a better manager we would have.

The midfield with doucure was dire, ans it was against palace, and no striker can play and prosper with Dycheball, so dcl/beto/haaland won’t score goals.

He left unused subs yet again as Newcastle were coming forward in wave after wave, and when our team were screaming out for legs - he just kept waving his arms around in circles gesticulating to the players as if that’s going to make them not be knackered, like some baldy hogwarts professor, ridiculous.

So sad to some of our fans so accepting of mediocrity and outdated tactics.

Yes this. Should have been Doucoure for Lindstrom on 60 mins.

I'd be surprised if the Friedkins haven't already got a coach in mind.
I'll tell you what they wont do if they have any sense: sack a manager this season when they want the club they're buying to safely be in the PL when/if they takeover.

They probably know the square root of f.a. about soccer ball, but no doubt have advisers who'll tell them that Sean Dyche is a reliable pair of hands to get us stable in the PL again for a third season in succession.

Who knows, after proving he can keep an 'asset' safe for that long they might take the sound business decision to leave him in place a little longer and extend his contract. That'd be a wise move IMO, as the first season in a new stadium will need an experienced man at the wheel again to guide us through it.

If it were me, and Dyche again proved this season he can keep us 2/3/4 spots above the relegation zone, I'd hand him a further 12 months on his contract that's coming to an end in May.

Imagine wanting our first home game in a brand spanking new stadium in front of 50k+ fans to be a 30% possession, backs to the wall performance against a Bournemouth under Dyche.
