Toffee TV - will you get out of town!

Howl at the moon journalism, designed to trigger fans emotions for subscriptions.

They've been calling for his head for beards. just for content and drama, ultimately they are a couple of fans - prob on here - lot of cross over on content and talking points coincidently, i find. Alright lads! ;)

There is a few good pods around - the Echo one is actually quite good, Bobbles is good and The Blue Room. Toffee TV do a daily one, struggle for content, so whip everything up. Wouldn't be my cup of tea.
I’m not surprised one bit you like echo one 😂😂😂

Fair point, the Blue Room can be a bit of hit and miss - there are a couple of points that are a bit out there by one or two of the guests on all of them - but actually enjoy a bit of that - one said The Duke and Idrissa should start Vs Ipswich and i was like - no way - so shows what i know. But personally find the Echo, Bobbles and Blue room the best most objective and thought provoking.

Haven't listened to The American Toffee - must do - thanks for the tip mate.

Find Toffee TV very talk sporty - but just for Everton fans - each to their own though, defo wouldn't be putting much stock in it as objective journalism personally. To be very fair id listen to it if John Blain is on - hes very good, but the rest, swerve
PED isn't stupid, he knows what gets clicks and likes and that generates money.

He's not particularly bothered about being liked or what people think of his opinion. Fair play to him, he has catered for his target audience

Well he didn’t pick him for the first 2 games, very similar to the Branthwaite scenario from last season. Why would he leave a very good play out, just because he didn’t buy him. He better not an try get a job abroad after Everton,
Because that the model most clubs use.

Hes under pressure, he’s going to pick his best players, like Branthwaite will be back in as soon as he’s fit, him and DCL don’t see eye to eye, but he picks him every week

Why would a football manager not like all his best players and then show his dislike by starting them almost every game of the season whenever they’re fit? Do you realise how ridiculous that sounds?

I never said he didn’t like ndaiye or Branthwaite. You actually said that 😂 there’s a big difference between not liking a player and not buying him, It was DCL, he didn’t see eye to eye with, and the only other option is Beto, so what’s he going to do, this has come from the Bobble, couldn’t care less if you believe or not.

He obviously fell out with Onana and he dropped him, like Lampard did with doucoure, this is totally different to not buying a player

Dyche doesn’t buy any of the players though. Thelwell buys them all. You seem to want to conveniently separate them into the ones you think Dyche chose and the ones you think he didn’t.

You don’t know, no one does.

All we know is that he’s got a squad of players and then he picks which ones to play, and most of the time he’s picking Branthwaite Ndiaye Calvert Lewin, so you can keep trying to extrapolate what him not playing x player for a 2 game stretch when they weren’t fully fit means but it most probably doesn’t mean anything other than they weren’t fully fit or up to speed with the team.

Branthwaite Calvert Lewin Ndiaye are all first choice selections by Dyche and there’s no way you can spin that.

What are you talking about,
Again moving the goalposts to suit your own agenda. So dyche didn’t push for young or Harrison.
He wanted trippier and Phillips. Who do you think wanted Gnonto. Again from
The Bobble they have a decent working relationship,
But ain’t big pals outside of football. Of course they will talk about players and try and work together

Of course he will pick them 3 he’s an idiot if he doesn’t.

But weren't people saying he's not a Dyche player? No way Dyche would choose somebody like that...

Yet he does choose somebody remarkably like that.

Think that's the point being made mate.

Who are you talking about ? I just posted about what Baz said on Toffee tv, about he wasn’t really invested in Ndaiye, it was all on Thelwell, probably makes sense as he’s never played in the prem,
Which is a big go to for dyche, he’s obviously impressed him in training

You're not aware that picking the best players is not always a simple concept as managers are not always objective and have their own biases

They defo are on here, or at least used to be.

I remember a few years back I posted something and either Baz or Ped, can’t remember which, copied my post word for word and posted it on their Twitter account.

Their post got hundreds of likes and retweets.

Mine got like 10 likes.

The bastards.

I will give him credit for the Ipswich game we were solid and in control throughout but the lackluster competition needs to factored in to, overall 2 wins in 8 games is abysmal , especially we haven't really played any heavy hitters other than spurs and aston villa, the December and holiday fixtures are brutal

Especially when those 2 wins have come vrs Palace & Ipswich who both haven't won a single game yet.
Also not beating 2 more terrible teams such as Bournemouth & Leicester.

I find it mad how becasue we dont win that often ,when we do, it is all high praise and happy times.
8 worse teams in this division than us, and we have already played 4 of them

You don’t know any of this though. It’s just an easy assumption. Anyone English must be a Dyche pick, anyone we were linked with that you didn’t like must be a Dyche pick, anyone else we bought must be a Thelwell pick. Dyche is bowing to pressure by playing them etc.

You don’t know any of this you’re just making it up to suit your agenda. Dyche might have liked Harrison, he might have liked Young, he might have liked Ndiaye, he might have liked Branthwaite. First of all it doesn’t really matter if they’re in the squad and he’s playing them and secondly you’ll never know either way so stop trying to pedal this myth that some players aren’t Dyche players and he doesn’t want to play them (even though he is all the time)

i can’t think of many players at Everton who should definitely be playing who aren’t seeing considerable game time. O’Brien is an unknown quantity who might be the only exception, some fans will want Dixon over Young but he’s a very young lad who will need phasing into the first team. There’s no player who is being kept out by Dyche unfairly in my view this season.

You know what I thought was dead funny, when you spent years furiously batting away suggestions that Dyche favours Premier League experience, and then he sat down in a press conference and told us that he does
