As ive said many times you seem to have some weird sort of obsession with responding to my posts. I’ve not responded to countless posts where you’re calling me a bot or Dave lite, completely unprovoked, normally after an Everton win trying to bait a response for some reason. It’s very very strange behaviour and weirdly needy. I’ve no interest in debating any point with you as I’d rather you just didn’t engage with me at all.

Spoken like someone who can’t just admit what they wrote was bonkers.

"Don't talk to me if you don't agree with everything I say". Classic Saint Domingo. Never change, bud.

I feel Sean Dyche will safely see his contract out with us. He may even get a new deal if we go on an impressive unbeaten run of games.
No chance he should get a new deal. At the moment they’re 3 groups of people. 1 the fans that want him gone asap (me)
2 the fans the just want to survive this season and want go to stay to get that done
3 the fans that think he’s great and is dong an amazing job and should get a new deal.

With new owners, new board, new ambition we should be looking to kick on. We can’t go to the amazing new ground and kick and scrap are way to 7/8 wins a season, that won’t wash with 80% of the fan base. They’re loads of managers out there on another level to dyche and that should be the ambition from the club. Not just happy to keep a manager who will keep us in the league

Bit of stability for the first few seasons bedding in at the new stadium might not be a bad thing
Then if we finish 11tg/12th first season at BMD, do you then say let’s give him another season. And basically we become Burnley can’t wait to have a pint at the dyche arms outside BMD Is the ambition from you two just to survive ??

Do we have critical mass for the annual manager war yet?

We famously had the Benitez 8 vs. everyone else a few years ago.

8 is a bit arbitrary, but I think 5 at least are needed to form a group of bandits and panto villians.

So who is in the Dychette 5?*

*nominal figure, official membership pending.

If you count the Merseybank Messiah, there’s deffo five.

First off I'll say I want us to win the league.

I appear to be in the 'Dyche in camp' by default as I genuinely think after being asset stripped for 3 seasons on the bounce and having 8 points deducted, that would have seen off just about every other team in the bottom half of the table.

I absolutely can't get past that Dyche has definitely kept us out of the Championship and we definitely aren't out of the woods yet.

You don’t half over exaggerate. I seem to remember arguing against people that claimed ‘he doesn’t play young players’ when we have had Branthwaite McNeil Iroegbunam Garner all playing regularly and he’s given prem game time to Dixon Armstrong Simms. It’s not the same as arguing about whether he prefers prem experience or not.

You know what I thought was dead funny? When you were made up with yourself for predicting we’d be relegated and started bragging about how early you’d predicted it…and then we stayed up.
281 minutes for Simms

281 minutes for Simms

I see more in Chermiti tbf, he really looked promising the games he played before his injury.

Hope that long inhury won't be a big issue and he can start on the level he had in May-July.

Dyche picks experience over youth surely in most cases.

But we had a decent amount players getting 1000mins last season under 21.

11th, good cup run maybe a quarter final ? Got to be happy with that

372 minutes of PL experience for all 3 combined so far in their Everton careers. In positions where we had no one else and he still picked to play a player out of position there instead of the young player.

It's a bit sad, not a fan of forcing the playing of young players.

But Armstrong, Dixon, Chermiti are part of the future Everton project. One of them is injured.

They won't get experience and adapt when Dyche doesn't play or just for 2-3 mins every game.

Tim is ready to start multiple games, but the other 3 have the potential to become that as well.

Games like Bournemouth and Ipswich are perfect occasions to give 15-20 min.

We're in a transition season were we need to be top bottom half and also lay the base with the players that still we be here, because there is certainly 1/3 of the squad to be renewed.
