2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

And i think blaming consistant mediocre to bad form on injuries is goofy. The only injury that has menionably affected us is Branthe, and Dyche is among the people to blame for not having bought a good enough backup anyway. They spent a lot of money on a CB he never plays insted. Injuries are not the reason we are where we are, theyre not the reason we're incapable of doing anything with the players we have. Theyre not the reason we lost to Soton and couldnt score enought to win a game against the worst sides in the league.

I’m not blaming anything on injuries. Try reading the words instead of coming on assuming anyone who says dyche isn’t the devil must be saying he’s the best thing ever. I know it’s hard but I reckon you can do it. My point is that we can’t just say last years finishing position is the minimum acceptable aim because progression is always linear. It’s childlike logic, things are more nuanced than that.

Calm your tits and dont put words in my mouth please, Im not one of the people on her burying Dyche on the daily. Youre in here defending him day in and day out tho, why is that? I dont think he needs you to white knight for him, and youre not making any arguments to support your claims.

I agree, we cant just say that based on no evidence. Based on the all the things i pointed out in the previous post on the other hand, there are good reasons to think we should improve. That progression isnt always linear is the absolute biggest copout ive read on here in a while. Do you have any actual arguments other than other people being foolish and childlike? I dont really see any. You said we were lucky with injuries last season, as if thats the reason for not seeing improvements. Thats the only arugment youve made to me, the rest is literally this goofy post saying you didnt blame anything on injuries. If that wasnt your intention, why did you mention it?

I said that injuries have affected us more this year than last year, and that is a reason (among many) why it’s childlike to just say we finished 12th last year so we have to improve in that or else the whole season has been an utter disaster. If you don’t see why not having branthwaite in the side as much means we might not do as well then I would say you must be ‘goofy’, to use the sort of language you might understand.

So you did blame the injuries then, cool. Why claim you didnt? If we're gonna talk childlike, thats it isnt it? Just lying for the sake of it? Or are you going to spin another yarn of what you actually ment, and how that wasnt your excuse for our current form, when thats the topic you responded to?
I didnt just say we should do better than 12th because we finished 12th. I gave a bunch of reasons you ignored, just to slap on your goofy injury statement you lied about. Stop trying to be clever with your insults and give us a real reason for why youre in here white knighting him day in and day out, or at the very least an argument better than "injuries(among many)".

And your Branthwaite arguments totally ignores what i just wrote in the post you quoted earlier. Dyche and co spent 20m on a CB they dont use. Maybe dont do that and get one that can sub for Branthe sufficiently if hes injured. But again, this is you using your injury excuse you pretend you never made.

What are you talking about? I’m not ‘blaming’ anything because I’m talking about a hypothetical situation! It’s honestly a really simple point, I don’t quite know how you’re failing to grasp it. The crux of it is that I think our finishing position last year was probably not reflective of how the season actually went for us, and was at the very top end of what we can realistically achieve with these players. I therefore don’t think that we should automatically believe we’ve failed if we don’t improve on it. If you still don’t understand then just ignore because I’m not explaining it again.

Yes, god please STOP trying to explain your goofy nonexisting points, noone wants you to yet you keep doing it, pretending its because im to dumb to understand the silly posts youre making. You dont really ever respond to whats written, do you? You dont have any valid reasons, so youre blaming injuries and now 'hypothetical stuff'. If you dont have a single good, logical point on why its childlike to expect the club to strive for improvement upon last years results - why did you even bother commenting? The point youre making i absurd, based on you making guesses and 'probably's. I gave you actual points of improvement within the club since the past season, something that should lead to less turmoil and more stability, which its normal to then assume will affect the club positively in all aspects including on the pitch. You have yet to respond to any of those points, resorting to childish insults insted. YOU responded to MY post originally, dismissing it without giving a single actual argument other than blaming injuries. Then you call me daft for asking what you base your stance on other than injuries? Stop trying to cirularly make your goofy point without actually responding to whats being written to you, you do not look nearly as cleaver as you think. You are in here defending Dyche on the daily, yet wont give me any reason for why or any actual claim other than 'injuries' to explain why we're still at the exact spot we were last year results-wise. Then you act arrogantly when called out on it. How about insted of being backhanded in your replies because im not playing your game, you read what Ive written and responds to the points i made in my original post that YOU responded to. There’s relative improvement against the movement of the other 19 teams though, if you’ve improved a bit but all the teams immediately around you have improved more then you’ve relatively gone backwards.

That’s not my opinion on anything specific it’s just a logical take. The only metric you can really measure a team against is where do you rank the squad quality wise at the start of the season vis-à-vis all the other squads. I’ve long said I think we’re in a range of somewhere from 12th-16th with me going for about 13th. We’re probably a couple of points behind where we need to be but most squads in this league won’t finish too far away from their quality ranking over the course of a season with the odd exception.

Fair points. I dont think 13 is unrealistic, nor a massive disappointment, but I also think the club should aim higher.
