2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Iwobi walks into our side currently, anyone bar N’Diaye makes way.

Gray is crap yes, at least he had pace though. He regularly beat a man, scored some crucial goals. What has Harrison done? Forget Leeds that’s not affecting us is it.
He got 2 goals in
His last 50 games and something like 1 assist. No point in pace if you have no end product, and dyche was happy for him to go. Harrison is ineffective due to the manager and set up. We have 30% possession most weeks and our wide player spend most of the time on their own half holding hands with the full
Back. You will never see the best of ndiaye under this ultra negative manager

To be fair Harrison has been playing in a position that he’s never played at any other point in his career under our genius of a manager, I wonder how many goals and assists Gray would’ve had if he’d been playing at right back.

Looking forward to Harrison becoming Arjen Robben under the new boss then 👏.

You keep saying this.

He only featured in 67 league games for us (not sure how many were starts), so his "last 50 games" is a very odd way of framing it.

Oh and he scored 4 league goals in his last season, so it's bollocks anyway.

Was he great? No. Were his numbers great? No, but I feel like he would offer something different out wide to the not so pacey options of Lindstrom, Harrison and Mcneil.

It’s 2 years since I was taking about gray on here and had 2 goals in my head, I realise why that was, like you say he got 4 in his last season, 2 were penalties. So I was talking about open play, so it was 2 from open play and one was the worldie v city and the only reason he scored that was because he slipped and then had to shot. Otherwise he’d have done another 3 step overs and booted it at a city defenders legs.

There’s reason Leicester sold for 2 mil and bayer leverkusen had seen enough after 10 games and sold him to us for 1.7mil.

He was a decent outlet for us. Cost us next to nothing, Scored goals, provided some pace and then sold for a profit to keep the club afloat.
All in all one of moshiri eras more successful signing when all considered.

Must admit to an ancelotti style raised eyebrow browsing through this thread to comments that we'll def not get relegated with Dyche. Not like he hasnt been relegated before. 100% going to be when Burnley gave him his cards. In his first half season here we had chances to pull away but stayed up with 45 minutes to spare. Last season there were 3 awful sides all season. We're sort of relying this season on wolves and palace staying poor all season. We've just been turned over by the equivalent of last seasons Sheff United.
Most importantly however. We're not playing like we're knocking on the door for wins which i thought we were last season.
If we dont dig out results in the brent/wolves home games i think we're in bigger trouble than some predict.
Wish i was as confident with the we wont get relegated people.
Past performance is no guarantee of future performance
