2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

A lot of players are incapable of improving. You see them every season, at clubs up and down the country, players who are deemed not good enough and moved on.

Nobody said David Moyes was a crap manager when Tony Hibbert reached his zenith, they just accepted that there was no more ability to drag out of him. It's not uncommon. Managers aren't miracle workers. I reckon a good 70% of players in this league will never be good enough to reach elite level, and no amount of coaching will make them that good.
Don’t let uncle Sean see this bit mate

The ownership change and entering Bramley Moore WILL change the negotiating position. That’s reality. I don’t know why people are going on about a salary Everton negotiated when they were on the absolute precipice in Jan 23.
And in the interim we have an already limited manager who knows he's on his way out, throwing players under the bus and under performing with the available squad. The sooner he's gone the better

By the way. I don't think keeping Everton in the league is as big an achievement as you are making out, especially with the increasing gap between promoted teams and PL teams.

Fact remains, he's not improved us, doesn't seem to think it's possible and should get his extra golden handshake and be moved on

That’s not a fact, just your opinion.

The ownership will change, and when it does its job done for Dyche whether you want to carry on being the angry man shouting at the clouds or not.

Sean Dyche in 2024 is so on point and up to date with modern football he still believes clubs use a “cheque book” 😃
Even this fella’s banking is outdated ffs
He probably still insists that they install a fax line in his office...

It is a fact. We were in a relegation scrap when he signed, and we are in a relegation scrap nearly 2 years later. This is by his own admission.
I'm not shouting at clouds lad, I'm pointlessly debating with pro Dyche people like yourself that for some unknown reason are content with him.

It is possible to simultaneously hold both thoughts that he did his job and that now the job is beyond him if we want to not be perennial relegation candidates. It's what most seem to keep saying to you tbh

That was 2 years ago mate sorry, irrelevant.

Well, it's unrealistic to expect some players to improve none stop over a period of 2 years.

It's fair to say though that some of them aren't performing at the level he got out of them last season. Who though? Tarkowski, for sure, and Myko. I think we've long since seen the best of Doucoure, Gana Gueye has been consistent for me, and Dwight has been better this season. Harrison has disappointed, Garner has barely got going, likewise Branthwaite, so hard to say, and I think Beto is definitely giving him more of a headache than he did last season, and Young is definitely playing better.

Any other players you thought he was getting more out of last season?
