2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Maybe you have, but I'm pretty sure they're not every time they start. He's been rubbish whenever he's had a chance. The spot is there for the taking and he hasn't grabbed it. He's done here mate, imo. Will end up back at Rangers.
He hasn’t and that’s not true. He was part of that Lampard back line that after like 10 games had the 4th best defensive record in the league. Then he got injured.

And if you think Dyche has genuinely given him a chance then god help you. Young and Coleman with all their experience make mistake after mistake and continue playing. Patterson as a young lad makes a couple and is dropped for the rest of the season.

A lot of players are incapable of improving. You see them every season, at clubs up and down the country, players who are deemed not good enough and moved on.

Nobody said David Moyes was a crap manager when Tony Hibbert reached his zenith, they just accepted that there was no more ability to drag out of him. It's not uncommon. Managers aren't miracle workers. I reckon a good 70% of players in this league will never be good enough to reach elite level, and no amount of coaching will make them that good.
You may want to tell the Ipswich squad then - they were mostly league one - now they’re competing reasonably well in the PL

I suppose it does come down to his belief when it comes to gaslighting or not. You could be right. If that's the case then his lack of self awareness or self introspection makes him a poor leader imo and only supports the Dyche out viewpoint.
On the other hand, if he is deliberately lowering expectations and insulting players in order to match his own ability knowingly then he's an a$$ whole as well as still needing to be booted.
2 + 2
I have no issue with us booting him, I never have despite somehow finding myself labelled as a dychette. My opinion is that he was doing well enough to justify being kept on for the short term until we were in a better position to replace him with someone we actually wanted, and that some of the criticism is over the top and not taking into account the realities of the situation.

I’ve always said things change quickly though, and not winning on Saturday was always going to be an issue - obviously more so with them going down to 10. I still don’t think we’re going to miraculously get loads better if we sack him but there’s definitely an argument that it’s worth doing now.

Nonsense. Don’t agree in the slightest.

Coleman has honestly been rubbish for 3 years and also has no chance of getting any better.

Manager has to go - "imminently" - but people are kidding themselves if they think this group of Everton players are anything other than chancers, mediocrities, journeymen, and donkeys. We have two good players. The rest can't believe their luck - like the current manager, this is their personal pinnacle. None of them are worthy of the shirt.

Young was definitely in a period where he was dreadful every time he started. The difference is that he’s allowed to play through that and into form, Patterson and tbh, most of the others on the bench, aren’t given that same leeway.

Entitled to your opinion. I don't believe he's shown enough. Put in some performances under Frank, not many though. Since then he's been pretty mediocre, but he's been getting a few games with the u23's after a lengthy lay off so maybe he might get another crack at it. He will have to do better though.

He doesn’t have to do much to be better than Young and Coleman.

I think Young has been our best player since he came back from the sending off.
And Coleman hasnt been rubbish for 3 years. He's been injury prone but not rubbish.
I do still think Patterson deserves his chance but Dyche doesnt rate him so thats that till the next boss comes in.
Thing is, the club should have loaned him out.

Sean Dyche should have been sacked in the summer but here we are with him still in charge and there is absolutely no way he gets sacked before January and we will be proper in the crap by then.

The Friedkins aren`t what everyone expects they are... no evidence to prove they will sack the minute they take over... honestly it will not happen, if at all, this season. Vault this!!!!

Both the players and the manager can’t be ‘not very good ‘ though can’t they ? We can’t change all the players so it doesn’t leave many other options .

I think it’s a poor squad , do I think it’s better than we’ve been against Brighton , fulham , West Ham and Brentford amongst others then the answer is yeah I do .

Oh, we most certainly can change all the players over the coming year or two. Many are out of contract this summer. These players are not of the standard required. Finishing 13th next season with these boys and a new manager is not going to cut it. Their ceiling is too low. Massive purge essential.
