Maybe it's because Lampard didn't blame the fans, the club and regularly throw the players under the bus for his own failings?

Oh and doesn't come across as an arrogant muppet
1. Lampard always threw players under the bus and everyone here lapped it up.
2. Didn't blame the club?

I don't know what you are reading but I'm reading a man that owns his own reality and his acceptance of the club's issues from the start, and yes, losing Richarlison was a big loss. One that Dyche did not have.

The only time I heard him criticise the players was after the smashing in London when he said 'you need bollocks to play at this level'.
That was a general commentary on the whole team, not a 'solve the goal scoring with a cheque book' comment

Think what you want about him. He is held in higher regard than Dyche and it has nothing to do with the RS or the Tories. It has to do with the two men and how they related to the fans and their attitude to the job. That is just the way it is, so I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve

'We were in a relegation fight when I got here' - doesn't sound like the exact thing people are giving out about Dyche for no?

I find it flabbergasting that a manager who kept us up after Lampard, saw us through a period of two pts deductions and kept us up, and got us probably our last Merseyside derby win at goodison, is despised more than Lampard because of how he carried himself, PR wise.

There is a huge difference. They can both say they were in a relegation fight when they got here, because it was a fact.
Dyche constantly talked about changing the narrative, but when he improved on the points total in his second year, got far more players and time than Lampard got to put his own stamp on things he completely gave up the changing of the narrative and decided to reinforce the narrative this season by telling his players they're crap and belong in a relegation scrap. Because he belongs in a relegation scrap, it's where he is at home.

He also acts like he's seen it all and knows it all and doesn't take responsibilty, but Lampard acknowledged he had a lot to learn and often took responsibility. People respond to things like that, I know I do. Lampard is just far more likeable than Dyche and liked and respected the fans way more than Dyche does.

Dyche did his job, not saying he didn't, it doesn't make him more likeable though. Now he's going backwards and doesn't care about 'the narrative', the fans or the club, just his own rep.
