2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Would surely be huge gamble and risk to take in our situation.

But I am sure about 2 things, we would be in a better position in the table, and there would be 100% identification with the fans and the club.
Personally think Carsley would be quite shrewd. Been away from the club long enough that it’s not sentimentality. Highly regarded as an up and coming manager. (I’m not always convinced by unproven managers but feel he would likely be under high consideration by any of the bottom 10 teams in the PL if they were to replace their managers at this point).

Can see the impact he had on the England squad and players like Pickford, Branthwaite and garner will be able to get all the players on side by talking about the sort of man manager he is.

The younger players will feel that they will actually get a chance regardless of pL eXpErIeNcE as he has shown he will give them chances if they work hard and show enough when he brought a load into the England squad.

Won 11 games in a whole year. If you take out a 2 week period in December 2023 and 1 week from April, you remove 7 of those. 4 wins spread across the rest of the 49 weeks.

How he is still here is mind boggling.
Yeah but mate, you are including the days we don’t have matches. Take those out and it’s like 11 wins in 38 days or something which is impressive.

Utterly honking manager.
He is speaking of "errors" he has made. Really? What kind of errors? I thought he is perfect and only the fans and Slapperson are making mistakes! Bambi cant do mistakes because he is running around with closed eyes and in big fear that the ball touches him. McNeill he is hilarious and happy all match. Brantwaithe is showboating his amazing skills. Doucoure is learning how to stop a ball. The rest of the team are all so runs and have no responsibility what so ever and cant make mistakes.

Can we even afford to pay Dyche and Co. off with FFP? No idea where we are sitting with that at the minute.

Ideal scenario would be for TFG to get a new manager in before January and give him money to invest.

If we were bobbing about in mid table & looking half decent, I'd have Carsley in a hart beat: would have great rapport with the fans & is a thoroughly decent bloke.

BUT

Is this the right place and time for a guy to cut his managerial teeth? Does he have the skills needed in our present state? I'm very doubtful.

Yeah, I don't get it. 50 years old, very little experience being a manager.

Leave him alone you Monster. He is a Scouse Will Hunting x

Almost anyone is gonna be a gamble in our situation. The squad needs reworking in January. You’d hope with Carsley he’d get a response from the fans which might drag us over the line a couple of times before then and we can strengthen the playing squad.

It's the best we can hope for, finances are tied, we did ok on the market for the budget, just wished we'd have used the O Brien money better that was a price in line with the market, but 20m for a Everton player 2024 is much money and was 1/3 of our budget.

But I see a lot of people say they feel disconnected with the squad and the manager, Carsley surely is someone that can bring the fire back and people can identify with. And this bond can give you extra power.
