2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Just been sent this but cant validate as I’ve deleted twitter. Possession is no surprise but the pressing can't be right can it?

Indicative of our lack of legs and how we’re struggling to get back into shape if we press to high.

We used to get murdered under Lampard in transition and we’ve lost Richarlison, Gordon and Onana who were excellent in those moments.

We’ve gone way too far the other way but I wouldn’t be surprised to see us so low, we must have the least athletic squad in the league.

Hypothetical Question:

If losing tonight meant that he would be given the boot, would you be happy to lose?
Oof. Not with our points total. Don’t see us surviving if we drop too deep behind the likes of Leicester and Palace. Tonight’s points too valuable.

Perfect outcome is an utterly gash performance where we have 8% possession, no shots or corners and they score an own goal to give us a throughly underserved win, and he can jog on anyway.

The thing is I think last season that was reason why we had very few injuries and thanks god it was this way. Also in terms of fitness, we are far off last season.

For someone that emphasizes the importance of fitness, we are pretty bad this season.

... I'm saying yes, because they were replacing him after he earned 48 points, 1 point below 10th last year.

... I'm saying even if we turned 3 results around this season and sat 10h - they'd still have sacked him.
I know I only responded with that because you said:

Yes.

They'd have had to either issue a new contract, or sack him. They weren't issuing a new contract - because they were going to can him in the summer after we'd just finished 12th.
