2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

He also has the record for managing the first team to stay up with 2 pts deductions, first Merseyside derby win at home in 12 years, and I'm pretty sure at the end of last season he had one of the best consecutive home win runs for us in a good while.
Happy with the win but he needs dropping off at the nearest festival with a slab and a bucket hat

That result to me only further backs up how much he's been underachieving the past couple of months. We are clearly miles better than the likes of Wolves, Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester, yet we're stuck down there with them in yet another stressful relegation battle because he's been managing so poorly.

Tonight was a huge relief but it's only one result. If we pick up another 2-3 points this month, somehow, that likely will be enough to keep us above the bottom 3 for the entirety. And if we can get to New Year with breathing space, then surely we'll be alright the second of the season. 20+ by the end of Jan and you'll likely be safe as houses.
We should have at least six more points this season. When fit, the squad is more than capable of staying up.

Grateful for the 3 points tonight and shocked at getting 4 goals. What Dyche said in a press conference about realising that every game is a must win for Everton perturbs me in his thinking. Also he has said many times that he doesn't have highs or lows win or lose which shows me (my opinion) that he doesn't care enough and his wage is more important

Solid win, didn't do a lot wrong but still struggle to create from open play. All 4 goals from set pieces. While Wolves were rubbish the scoreline still flattered us.

That disallowed goal was absurd btw. Tarkowski had 3 players on him when he made the header, but VAR can determine with certainty that the one player Mangala blocked would have prevented the goal?
