2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

He's managed 2 clubs that have little money or ran into the ground, who's ambitions is to just stay in the league.

He is limited. He's not getting the Bayern job like Kompany did by sinking a club after spending £100million because of his "brand".

But the premiership is a cruel beast. There's not many coaches that manage in it for the period of time he has. There's hardly many managers that play expansive football regularly and successfully over a long period.

He's doing his job until the end of the season.
He has gone down multiple times!

There are plenty of managers doing better than him right now outside of mega-rich clubs. It's not an excuse anymore.

For the record it was never an excuse, but there are finally enough teams doing it that you can't really make the case that this is anything but a choice nowadays.

How many have had to deal with the financial constraints and playing staff he’s had to?

The figures are all readily available, we’ve made the 4th(?) most on transfers since 2014 and in the last four/five years we’ve really stopped spending money.

The players we’ve managed to get have been frees/on the drip/loans or players hugely out of favour. Hardly a brilliant market to be in.

It wasn’t the fans who it made so that were only those options and it wasn’t the fans who thought it was a good idea to go on Sky Spors News to talk nonsense.

If it’s on the fans, what are the people at the club being paid for?
Moshiri had decided on him but the fans reaction persuaded him not to go ahead Who knows if would have worked out . Yeah the Sky Sports news interview didn't go down well . I think after the Benitez appointment, Moshiri didn't dare go against the fans wishes at the time and the fans favoured Lampard

Vitor Pereira has just said he almost joined Everton on 3 separate occasions. I wish him well he seems happy to be finally in the Premier League and he comes across well . The fans might have got it wrong wanting Frank instead
The fans got it wrong 😂 you mean moshiri got it wrong by making it a choice between only the two of them.

Lampard did Ok at Chelsea whereas Vitor has been around many, many clubs and sacked multiple times so it was a more logical decision.

It’s also very early days and they have so far played Leicester and a struggling Man United with 10 players.

I'm not saying he's the answer at all , all I'm saying is sometimes the fashionable appointment isn't always the correct way to go about it. Ultimately of course it was down to Moshiri to employ who he wanted to, but after Benitez, he didn't want to go against who the fans favoured again

Dyche is paid a fair wad of cash to deal with all what you say mate, something like 6th highest paid manager in the prem.

Such as?

I see clubs with more stability and spending more than we have in 4 seasons yo-yoing from decent games, to getting pumped, with the odd team having a decent spell.

If we're looking for a new manager for next season for example...there's not one manager in the prem outside the top clubs I actually rate to be in charge of us (including Dyche).

I suspect Iraiola would do a half decent job. Eddie Howe too.
