It doesn’t make Dyche some sort of miracle worker either mate.

No he’s not, he’s done an alright job in the circumstances, lucky not to get the boot during that run last season and probably lucky to survive our start this season.

Teams with our defensive record don’t usually go down though. Very rare.

How many have had to deal with the financial constraints and playing staff he’s had to?

The figures are all readily available, we’ve made the 4th(?) most on transfers since 2014 and in the last four/five years we’ve really stopped spending money.

The players we’ve managed to get have been frees/on the drip/loans or players hugely out of favour. Hardly a brilliant market to be in.

You still choose how to deploy the players! I'm not expecting it to be CL level. There is enough in this team to play better than we do. I can't prove it and until someone else takes the reins no one who believes this is all that the group is capable of is ever going to be swayed. So there isn't much else to say.

Grateful for the point but considering Citys poor form i felt this was bit of a missed opportunity.

Still though i think we'd all have snapped your hand off beforehand, for two points out of both the Arsenal and City games.

The only empirical evidence is how this group has performed pre Dyche/outside of Dyche. It’s pretty grim reading as well.

Repeating myself but Dyche is crap, so are these players.

Pickford - Good
Coleman - over the hill
Tarkowski - career of rele battles
Branthwaite - Good (possibly v good)
Myko - genuinely worst left back I’ve seen for us (pistone/valente included)

Gana - over the hill
Mangala - rele battles/struggling teams
Doucoure - career of rele battles

Harrison - career of rele battles
DCL - pretty much career of rele battles
N’Diaye - first season in the prem, good in the championship, flopped in France (incidentally we all think he’s our best player)

Sean, who 100 % knows he is toast end of season
is managing his own and his coaching teams, employment prospects rather well and rather quietly ‘stats’ wise in recent weeks excluding the
United aberration. Hes a smart cookie is Sean.

So our players have been able to go toe to toe in 3 consecutive matches against 3 of the best teams in the country. Conceding just once in those games and could have genuinely won two of them.

Yet we are gasdyched continually by being told that we shouldn’t expect anything from them because they are all awful players and it’s inconceivable to expect us to go to teams like Southampton and win because what is Dyche expected to do with “these players”.

Yep, when we get a draw against a top team it is because Dyche is a genius and when we have only won 3 out of 17 it is because the players aren't good enough.

Here's a mad one. Maybe, just maybe it is the Manager who isn't good enough. How dare i say that after we got 3 draws on the run against good teams. I mean who cares if we are joint 4th from bottom. Drawing with good teams makes your league position not matter in Dychette land.
