2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Probably yeah. But if you think the coaches and players don't think it's an area that's an issue they want to work on, I think that's incorrect.

But you can also say we don't have enough quality to sacrifice defensively to improve us offensively.

Entirely agree that we should be doing better offensively. But I've also seen enough that don't trust these players to make the most of it. Hopefully if Broja and Cherms get up to speed and offer something
Sean Dyche has been a manager for over a decade now and his teams have shown a consistent inability in the same areas. Either he's not trying or wholly incapable of creating consistent attacking and at some point it doesn't actually matter which. We're at that point.

Since that run where we won two and drew two we have scored 2 open play goals in 9 games. It's complete incompetence.

I understand the concept of a “draw” may confuse your Yankee mind pal but it means the points are shared, no need for a sudden death powerball.

Say did anyone lose in those other games?
I watched Chelsea lose. Sadly despite losing I was able to tell that they are in fact better at football than Everton.

I will once again offer you a simple question: are Everton doing well?

You can just say yes! I will then say I disagree and we move on. Somehow I feel like you aren't going to do that though.

Well done buddy, Chelsea are indeed a better team than Everton.

Hey did you know there isn’t a draft system in soccer?

Three very good unexpected draws. Now the acid test. Forest at Goodison. Can he turn draws into wins?

I don’t think he has a future here - but if he beats Forest he will be making something of a case for consideration…
We went on a little purple patch this time last year as well - if merely not getting mullered by a few top six teams counts - and then we all know what happened next…

You’re seething pal. Why else after a good day for Everton would you be trying to detract from the Manager’s glory and denigrate our forum hero.

You should be calories and bevvies deep into Boxing Day, alas here you are gunning for #Gaffer and @davek.
I’ve already stayed it was a very good point and given him credit. So your 1 default “seething” response to every post isn’t cutting it here young man.

I feel @davek needs to defend himself here. You must be the worst defence barrister out there.

A jury who weren’t put asleep yet by your cut and paste responses would see firmly through it.

For our point on Boxing Day I am truly grateful.

I’m just confused as to when we became that club whose fans were willing to throw the towel in pre match. Particularly the stoic, righteous types.

Rock bottom at Xmas wasn’t it?
I'm not really sure what you are trying to achieve with that? I'm sure any poster that predicted us in the bottom three at Christmas is happy that we aren't. Extrapolate this form over a season and we're running extremely close to getting relegated in almost any Premier League season. It's been a diabolical first half to the season whatever way you look at it. The Forest game will tell us a lot about whether Dyche has it in him to drag a victory out of his players against a decent side - I suspect he won't be able to.

Vitor Pereira has just said he almost joined Everton on 3 separate occasions. I wish him well he seems happy to be finally in the Premier League and he comes across well . The fans might have got it wrong wanting Frank instead

It wasn’t the fans who it made so that were only those options and it wasn’t the fans who thought it was a good idea to go on Sky Sports News to talk nonsense.

If it’s on the fans, what are the people at the club being paid for?

He's managed 2 clubs that have little money or ran into the ground, who's ambitions is to just stay in the league.

He is limited. He's not getting the Bayern job like Kompany did by sinking a club after spending £100million because of his "brand".

But the premiership is a cruel beast. There's not many coaches that manage in it for the period of time he has. There's hardly many managers that play expansive football regularly and successfully over a long period.

He's doing his job until the end of the season.

What is anyone trying to achieve who’s been screaming for his head for the last month?

We all want to see us stay in the league, some of us think he can achieve that, others don’t.

I’m highlighting that predictions from a lot of people have been proven wrong - sure they’re not disappointed about that.
