It’s a load of rubbish, he’s said the players didn’t do what he asked them, suggesting they purposely didn’t play his way? If that was the case he had 5 subs there he could have used them all, even all at once if you can do that but he didn’t.

When Wood and Gibbs-White got the ball in dangerous spots I expected them to score because THEY expected to score.

No one on our side with the possible exception of Ndiaye and maybe Mangala give me any indication that they had that sort of intent, belief, purpose, prowess, expectation.

Why do we need a pragmatic manager, you`ve been listening to the media or playing FIFA far too much. To think players can not change the style they play is absurd, look at the transition from Moyes to Martinez, I think the newer players in this squad would flourish in a higher press and attacking set up.

Don’t play FIFA or read the news.

Pragmatic because I can’t see a Martinez style manager coming in and playing through the lines with the players we have got or even pressing high as we seem to have a lack of pace in the squad.

Tbh the run we had in April was a lot to do with other teams already being safe/on the beach. We still won, not taking that away, but they didn’t make it hard for us.
