2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Don’t play FIFA or read the news.

Pragmatic because I can’t see a Martinez style manager coming in and playing through the lines with the players we have got or even pressing high as we seem to have a lack of pace in the squad.

I might be wrong though and will support anyone who is in the dugout.
Any of us here could tell them to pass it sideways and hoof it in the box and if that doesn’t work just keep doing it anyway.

Imagine you have made your entire career in football being someone who tries to spoil football matches.

Get him gone and bring someone in who sees some joy in the game.
Look at the work Tom cleverly is doing at Watford. (Im in no way suggesting him for manager), but I listened to an interview with him and he clearly loves the role and the players respond to that.

He's just said his team do the opposite of that he asks.

He's just said his team played ineffective nothing football.

On the back of 3 wins and 15 goals in 18 league games.

Been his biggest advocate but cmon.

Still, sack him today as I would and we're still bottom 5 tomorrow.

Need investment.
To be fair players like Mangala and Doucoure are known for meaningless passing. Sideways or backwards. Gana to a lesser extend. It’s a fantastic trio against top teams but it’s a disaster if we need to attack with speed.

He’s just a walking talking human version of a handbrake

Feel sorry for the players he lets down
A poor craftsman blames his tools. That’s not to say the players can’t be held responsible form individual actions, but what training are they getting?

We don’t overlap, or break lines with passes and runs; our forward players movement on and off the ball is slow and predictable over and over again. It’s turgid.

Exactly, they havnt got a clue what to do once they get to the edge of the box or anywhere near it

Yes good point. I saw Pereira after his start comes across as genuine and keen. Inspires the players . He had an interview with Kenwright. ’….🫤

It’s a load of rubbish, he’s said the players didn’t do what he asked them, suggesting they purposely didn’t play his way? If that was the case he had 5 subs there he could have used them all, even all at once if you can do that but he didn’t.

Think that's getting twisted. He said they didn't play the way they were told in the first half, then did in the 2nd before an error for the 2nd goal took the game away from us.

He's not "lost the dressing room"
