2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

We have a world class keeper,
two excellent centerbacks (not sure what tark was on today tho)
Mangala has been great and Gana still has something about him.
Ndiaye is excellent.
That's five very good starting players.
Then theres a few good squad players like Garner etc.
There's enough bones there to build a decent side
Get a new boss in.
Sent Harrison back and get Richie on loan from Spurs.
See if you can figure out whats gone wrong with Myko
Maybe play 4-3-3.
There's half a season and two windows for a new boss to get his feet under the table before the move.
But TFG have to act decisively

Players look at him before the space on the pitch and then the space has gone

Now that is criminal as a manger to not have player playing without shackles

I think the last 4 games have been sensible setups which showed his strengths. The level of negativity towards him and based on those results (and team performances) made me think he needed a chance...

...which was to get to 21pts by the end of the Bournemouth game -- we then have a good amount of time before Villa to make a change.

He cant reach that target now so id sack him. The reason i picked out that number was that he had to pick up a win from any of the games (incl Bournemouth) as well as an extra draw.

The man simply hasnt been able to put out an attacking gameplan. We saw today the subs at RB & RW were the only two who looked like they'd played together before -- they were the 2 that hadnt!

Its like he said when at Burnley, "Everton dont know how to win" -- we dont even know how to attack.

Yes we need players but without an attacking plan...

You must be joking, he’s literally just threw the team under the bus, he’s out of contract in the summer and purely thinking of himself, literally May as well just said, yeah they were rubbish but it’s nothing to do with me.
 

He's had more than enough patience from the crowd. Where i sit he was getting the same amount of stick today as he has all season. He hasnt got a clue how to play for a win at home. He is shocking. Supporters arent happy at all and personally i am looking to those running the club to do something about it. We need to win games and all this so called positivity because weve drew 3 games is setting the bar very low really isnt it. Its not good enough.

We had an attacking plan...but players are not good enough to execute the plan...we are also missing our second most creative players in mcneill and we are struggling. Our cbs also decided to have a bad game, in particular Tarkowski, coupled with very good efficiency from them as pickford did not have to do wonderful saves or anything. They were just effective. There are no easy games, and in the same way that I was expecting us to lose today, I wouldn't be surprised if we take the 3 points away at Bournemouth next week.
 
Some posters will argue that no matter who we get in that we will still be terrible...and that's a valid point tbf.
But I think we can get and do better.
But more importantly it will give everyone a bit of freshness, hope and a lift. Because it's currently awful.

I'd suggest almost any manager with this squad could get a nil nil draw against any opposition. But we need to do more. I'm over for the Villa game and been honest see it more as a chore and an obligation then looking forward to it..I'd expect most of the fan base feel the same about the game now.

So please. Make the change. Try something different. Let us look forward to watching us play. And give us a semblance of our great club back at least.
