2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

It’s going to be a bumpy few weeks I think, he needs four points and good performances from the next 3.

If not you are giving people a decision to make, we can’t afford to chalk from Brighton onward.

Fascinated to see how TFG handle this, the environment has changed.

We’re a bad team and will be under someone else, but if points don’t improve and jeopardy becomes real getting to the 20 game mark, you give people a decision to make.

He won’t have the first idea what the new owners are thinking, absolutely no idea whatsoever. It’s also quite thick to suggest successful business people who have just chucked hundreds of millions of pounds at the club will entrust their investment to a failing employee regardless of what’s happening in front of their eyes.
Well they're keeping Chong on for now, and by all accounts value his opinion and may even keep him on, and he has been acting CEO. This means that his purview has been way beyond the stadium these last 18 months and will no doubt include his assessment of the football situation. So, you know.

And word always gets out. Some of it will be rumour, some will be pure nonsense. But word gets out of every organisation - particularly football clubs.

If we'd been sounding out managers, we'd know about it.

Wonder if thellwell gets a say on dyche or whether the new owners care what he has to say ? Still a bit of a mess really

Chong has been one of if not the only employee exceeding in his position at the whole club during the last couple of years, the new stadium is magnificent and he has overseen its construction, completion on time and handover. This is a man who has absolutely earned the respect he’s been given and if he is to be kept on in any capacity it shows that the Friedkins value employees excelling with the tasks they are entrusted with. There’s zero chance Dyche will be given free rein, the Friedkins have too much money tied up in this investment to let 1 employee risk shaving millions off the worth of the business through ineptitude and a lack of competence. Not a chance they let anyone but themselves gamble with their money, they also won’t be leaking anywhere near as much as the previous regime

Your time to shine... tell us all how fantastic Dyche is.

Certainly not a performance to be proud of. And not enjoyable football by any stretch. Emotionally gutting.
Clincally still think Dyche has one of worst squads. And I look at our tactics and sure what would work best with this team they are so weak.
Hopefully new owners start spending on the squad, and bring in a world class manager.
