2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

To be fair to @Eggs, he actually said he was the third greatest manager in the last sixty or so years of our history. Still completely insane, just not quite as insane.
To be fair to him he's spent the entire evening (and season) blaming everyone but Dyche, to the absolute boredom of all. Yes there's many moving parts accountable for our situation bit the buck stops with the manager and it's telling some posters haven't laid equal blame when it looks like they could be wrong.

It’s going to be a bumpy few weeks I think, he needs four points and good performances from the next 3.

If not you are giving people a decision to make, we can’t afford to chalk from Brighton onward.

Fascinated to see how TFG handle this, the environment has changed.

We’re a bad team and will be under someone else, but if points don’t improve and jeopardy becomes real getting to the 20 game mark, you give people a decision to make.
Bumpy few weeks.

He should be sacked today...

There is no doubt that the squad we have is poor but we are also managed by a very poor manager. Yo can’t excuse Sean Dyche’s ineptitude by simply blaming the players. We can’t change the whole squad and apparently we have little scoop to bring in the number of players we need to be truly competitive. So we do what we can do, improve on the manager and make what changes to the squad we can. That would constitute a start.

Sean Dyche said Everton’s players failed to follow his gameplan as they slumped to a disappointing defeat to Nottingham Forest. The Blues rarely troubled the visitors in their 2-0 loss, taking until the 80th minute to muster their first effort on goal

haha what was his genius game plan that the players failed to envision?

Such a cocky egomaniac with limited tactical skills

He has one gameplan and they were following it

Let me guess.

We’ve lost again, so everyone is turbo charged angry.

@chicoazul is calling anybody who is upset by another defeat “”Geordie” and others are reminding us that 8 wins in 38 is what we should be expecting under the current regime?

Have I missed anything?
Don’t forget that with it being a loss, the dychettes go into hiding for a few days

i appreciate that having to sit through the football is joyless, and not winning home games is always going to make him unpopular, serving up poor entertainment and put his job at risk.
The harsh reality is that this squad is absolutely dire. Unless there is investment in this squad now the club is as likely to go down rather than up the table whoever the new manager is.
My worry is that we could do west ham here. And get worse looking to play better football.
My main fear is relagation this season. I still feel Dyche keeps us up, although the football and match going experience is turgid. But relegation to the championship is a sand trap that be difficult to escape. And a huge rebuilding exercise.
