I know it's easy to conflate a squad being atrocious when the performances are subpar but that also occurs when a manager is very limited and unable/unwiling to find ways for players to be at serviceable for the team , yeah eddie howe was provided hundreds of millions to bring in top tier players but because of psr he had to elevate mediocre or non performing players like joelington, longstaff, murphy , Schar even allowing briefly to create a cohesive team on the pitch. Once again I'm not saying these players should be winning trophies but they're not the worst players ever as that's just hyperbolic ranting.

Dyche does nothing to accommodate attacking players or provide even a simplistic means to score. Big Sam played incredibly boring football with similar lackluster attacking stats but he knew you couldn't leave your attackers on a break isolated from each other so he was able to win those occasional games by the margins. All dyche can do is defend amd not always is everyone on that pitch is considered a defender in his mind. When you play like that it's difficult to distinguish yourself as a quality player of you're not a defender

I listen a pod with a guy called Jez on, god knows why I do because he winds me up, he makes every excuse under the sun for dyche. We have the worst squad in the league, all the other teams have spent 100’ and 100’s of millions etc
