2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Quick!
Someone get the “net transfer spend table” out so we can excuse Dyche’s football for only scoring more goals than Burton Albion from the whole English professional leagues…
#thankyougaffer

We scored even less before him mate. When Dyche rocked up we'd scored 15 in 20 games which is why we sat 19th. The season before that only the relegated clubs scored less.

The manager doesnt help but we need to spend and bring in players who aren't crap in the final third.

Ultimately, we don't have the players capable of scoring the goals to move us away from relegation scrap year after year. Three managers.

The last manager had maupay and Rondon

My last word on it for now, basically Pickford is keeping him in a job.

If Bournemouth score early Saturday it could be a rout.

Hopefully the new owners realise the danger and pull the plug if we lose again.

17 points replicated over the 2nd half of the season will see us relegated.
Please pardon my being so pedantic, but we're 18 games in. Another 17 points from another 18 games gets us 34 points with two games to play. Win the two and it's the magical* 40 point mark. A couple of sides look unlikely to reach 30 as it is.

Sean Dyche is going to put these players straight in the team is he? You know, when they probably don’t have the necessary fitness or premier league experience? He’s going to let these attacking players actually attack instead of holding hands with the full backs?

You are aware of how many goals this fella’s teams have scored over 10 years of premier league management? I’d love to know what percentage of those goals are from open play, I bet it’s well under 30%.

If they want to come and learn how to defend?
Yeah, I’m sure there already at Finch Farm car park with a pen in their hand.

Before you get to that stage they had to cost £0 upfront.

Which severely limited and why to address lack of goals we were signing number 10s to play out side who hadn't scored in years. Like Lindstrom.

We won't win the next three then what happens
My biggest worry would be that he scabs an undeserved win, like he did against Palace.

Genuinely think that's all it would take to keep him in post until the end of the season. And we would finish with not enough points to stay up.

Personally think he only goes of he loses all of the next three games. It would probably be enough for them if we beat Peterborough tbh.

Sean Dyche plays Doucoure as a number 10 and is on record as saying there is “no evidence” that Ndiaye can play there and has stated that Jack Harrison is “one of the best”…

Lindstrom hasn’t had a kick in the middle, Doucoure McNeil and Jack Harrison have though.

Jack Harrison…

Anyway, it’s all pointless because fundamentally Dyche doesn’t want the ball because he doesn’t know what to do with it.

The season he rocked up, we had had no centre forward other than Maupay.

He has so much more at his disposal than most of our managers have had. I think this is actually the strongest squad we've had. Granted, we've had much better first XIs before, but we have never been a side know for squad depth. Dyche has plenty at his disposal to get this squad lower mid-table. His negativity, lack of coaching and 1970s tactics have played us into an unnecessary relegation battle.
