2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I cant wait for this win tomorrow.

The haters will be licking their wounds and laying low and silently cursing the Freidkins for backing the gaffer.

I might get to like these spivs after all.

I don't generally respond to DaveK as I have him on ignore but some times I see what's happening and think WTF.

"The haters will be licking their wounds and laying low".

Listen, who ever you're targeting, at the end of the day, what we all want is Everton winning. What I will suggest is a win tomorrow would just paper over the Valles Marineris sized cracks. This barsteward Dyche needs to go. The football club needs to change. They need to stop putting it out that all that matters is staying in the league. This is Everton Football Club. We should be trying to win the league FFS. I know that's not on the cards, but there seems to be some pride in those accepting mediocrity for this football club. Years of lowering of expectations, by and large, put out by the club. Many misguided Evertonians out there are celebrating this medicrity. It's a shame really that so many are happy to tolerate such levels. However the club has been sliding in the wrong direction for 30 years and more. It doesn't take much to snap out of it. As a club that is. The Friedkin Group will hopefully change the club. In turn change the fans.

And another thing. The people at the club are working overtime to put it out there that it's important to stay in the league by the time we get to BM.

Bellew was going on about it and tonight Jagielka. It's utter rubbish. It's been the agenda before and it's doing the rounds again. The club is doubling down. They're doing what they did when Headlockgate was going on.

But I tell you what, carrying on in this fashion offers absolutely nothing for us for the rest of the season. And it also pains me to say this but to make it clear, that there will be no magic wand when we get to BM. Sure Dyche won't be there but there'll be a low base for who ever comes in. Seriously, wake up! Time to start changing the football club now.

There's definitely been a change in tone from media this week.

The 'noise' around the club has shifted to putting Dyche under more scrutiny. He's being asked questions he hasn't had to answer before about goals, chances, strikers.

It's hard/negligent for media to ignore - attacking performance is inescapably bad.

Feels like he's got back to the wall. Hopefully he can get performance (win) out of the them tomorrow.
Put TS on this afternoon and Sam Matterface was saying about the lack of goals and fans not liking him

I put 5live on at 7 and they had Phil Jagielka on they were talking RS then they turned to us and Darren Fletcher was in cahoots with Phil Jagielka about what Everton fans want that we want to just stay in the league (and get to BM). 💩 peddled last year. There was someone there (I didn't get his name) but he stuck up for us saying he thought we would be more ambitious as fans and expect us to be in the top 10.

Of course we want to stay in the league but we want more. Seems like some people just accept 17th as our target including the effin football club.

Yet they will give scripts to new signings saying we are a big club.

Big clubs don’t act like we have, no chance.

There is contempt for the fan base and their intelligence.

Or in rough terms, too many “arl arses” constantly in damage limitation mode.

If they put as much effort into being better then they do with the antics, they wouldn’t have to peddle this crap.
