2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Let's see how quickly the fans start vocalising their discontent, usually after every game it's about three seconds of booing, and that's not forcing anybody's hand.

I would have thought most sensible fans had assumed TFG would have done their due diligence and been ready to stamp their mark on the club with a new manager ready and waiting to replace the severely underperforming current one.

They've had half a year to get ready, they can't surely be at the stage of thinking about what to do with Dyche. Can they?
They’ve only officially been in charge since the 19th, they couldn’t have any legal right to get involved with what to do about Dyche until it was rubber stamped, same with Textor and 777

It’s blowing my mind that people are throwing daggers at them already when Moshiri got away with so much until the last 3/4 years

Dyche did.

Maybe it was the 10million a year that convinced him?

He came in, earned a fortune and when he leaves he will blame everything but himself.

Nice work if you can get it.

Hes the 7th highest paid manager, IN EUROPE.

90% of managers would crawl over broken glass for this job.
But we dont want a mercenary do we?

Given the evidence you`d have to say they weren`t as prepared as many would have thought, which again comes back to the fact that perhaps we haven`t got the owners we were led to believe they were...
It might turn out that the only actual benefit to them having taken over is the loans having been sorted out / consolidated / whatever they've done to them, but certainly nothing to do with the football side of things.

They've surely spent months looking at the direction the club is going, and there would only have been one logical conclusion to give their investment the best chance of NOT plummeting in value within half a year - replacing the manager.

Once again, even with new owners who have experience owning football clubs, hands are being sat on and results are essentially being forfeited.

Shambles.

I'm happy to take this back if he's replaced in good time before Villa, but let's face it, he won't be.

When you look at what's coming up it's the absolutely perfect time to sack him, tonight.

Peterborough is a game we can cope with even if Baines or whoever in the dugout, and 10 days til the next league game. Then two home games against Villa and Spurs, two tough teams but neither in brilliant form and with a new manager bounce and a positive Goodison games we'd have a much greater chance of results from than with the current manager. Do it now.

Who said this?

That seems to be the excuse/reasoning given by specific accounts on social media, if that’s directly from TFG it remains to be seen.

Either way, it’s a ridiculous position.
They either need to pay out for the manager, or spend on the squad, but if they carry on as we are, they’re unlikely to own a premier league club next season.

Yes, this is not the time for perfection. We need to get in the best manager we can - because the current fella is taking us out of the Premier League as surely as his vote took ye out of the European Union.

I’m not expecting us to score loads every week the minute the manager leaves but it HAS to be better than what’s being served up now?

Sleep walking towards relegation, exactly like his Burnley side. Absolutely awful.
