2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Think the only way might be an FA cup embarrassment you know. Least before the Villa and Spurs defeats that is.
It’s starting to feel like when we had Lampard here and he was begging to be put out of his misery and we just refused to sack him and kept losing game after game. We can’t afford to do it with the position we are in, he has to go asap.

If the new owners are backing him for now, they need to tell him to stfu with this stupid narrative of "it only takes one defeat and alarm bells start ringing and there's lots of negative noise".

Winning 1 game every 6-7 weeks under your tenure means that there will always be pressure, whether your Everton manager, Burnley manager or Burscough manager. Your paid an incredible amount of money to get results.

Yesterday's press conference was an embarrassment but it's not the first. Starting from the Bournemouth result "people thinking we were going to challenge for Europe" and my personal favourite "no one can tell me what went wrong, I know because I've watched the match back myself 37 times", he's continued to try to sustain a narrative that suits him and him alone.

I'd say he's one game away now from the fans turning on him at the stadium en mass. I'd rather that not happen as I'd rather have a new manager in place by this evening.

Without new owners he's basically being the cock of the schoolyard and been allowed to create whatever narrative suits him best when it comes to self preservation mode. Well, we have new owners and I demand a better Everton Foorball Club than the one currently on show.
If its true that TFG are coming over this week then I do wonder if they are going to have a word in his ear tbh. I'm guessing their visit is possibly to do with potential incomings/outgoings and I do wonder if they will want to know if he feels he is a) still up to the job and b) if they sign new players is he actually going to use them? He has people above him now who will expect answers and results its not like previous seasons.

Aye it's just over now for so many, only person defending him is Davek but he's a kopite anyway so he doesn't have any relevance even though he thinks he's massive on here.

I think we have regressed from last season. We definitely pressed more aggressively and smarter as a team and played higher up the pitch. We seem to be just playing a low block now and hoping to break with only Ndiaye who’s capable of this. We need Tim, Garner and McNeil back as soon as and we require a much more progressive left back as a bare minimum. I do think Dyches heart isn’t in it he’s burning bridges with the fanbase deflecting any shortcomings rather than facing them head on, and that’s enough reason to make the change now. Regardless of the result look at the difference in our performance against Bournemouth at home compared to yesterday. Dyche should be questioned on how a team on his watch performance can drop so starkly.

I think the tide has turned mate. Evertonians don't like to be taken for fools and his post match comments yesterday aren't acceptable.

People can spin it any which they want, winning 1 game every 6-7 weeks isn't acceptable and it shouldn't be accepted by 1 single Evertonian. I couldn't care less if we had to field 11 u18s, the same rule applies that it isn't acceptable.

I don't care if the players are backing him and still behind him. The tactics, the lack of coaching, the continued inclusion of players who are having a negative impact on any kind of football....it all has to stop and stop right now
Anyone still advocating this tit!

Ask themselves this, would Villa Newcastle Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham, be were they are now with the same squad if they had Sean Dyche as manager! The answer is NO! They would be in or around relegation.

It doesn’t matter what team. players he picks, new signings we get because it’s the set up and lack of coaching that’s failing us not the players! This will all become more evident when a new man comes in.

Wow I just turned sky sports news and stupidly heard his post match interview!

“We’re miles away I told you last season and this season” yes Sean you utter scruff you’re the reason why!

Then he says “We have to try and win football games” errr then go out to try and win some games you utter fraud of a man

Its staggering behaviour really.
He's pre-empted telling everyone to cover himself.

"Look we are going to be sh!t. I hereby distance myself from this now so when it happens i can say i told you. Any draws are mine btw. Nobody can get 0-0 draws like me. Shower me with praise for them.
Anything else. All happened before i got here"

Came over yesterday as an utter narcissist.

He's been trying to spin his narrative for a while now. Expect a few articles/Twitter posts of support from his journo mates over the coming days.

When he says we're on a decent run without wins he's so close to the actual truth in that so many of the games were there to be won - he just didn't have the tactics to pull it off.
I think we’ve been more fortunate to draw the drawn games, we could have lost
More than we could have won

Jep, there was a stats a few weeks ago that showed that we are the worst pressing team in the league this season, while we were top half last season after the first half.

Setting up defensively is viable, but having no attacking attacking idea or intent at all, just is atrocious.

Incredibly unprofessional too isn't it - not even trying to take responsibility for the job he is being paid for.

They’re coming over, how generous of them.

They need to get a grip asap.
