2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

One of the most disgraceful managerial performances over half a season that we have witnessed...since Lampard and Benitez before him.

This last few years has been abysmal since we made that Benitez appointment. Benitez had 1 win in 13 before he was sacked so thought i'd check back what the results were in the last 13 games of all 3 managers to compare.

Benitez in 21/22: 1W, 3D, 9L = 6 points from 39.

Lampard in 22/23: 2W, 2D, 9L = 8 points from 39

Dyche in 24/25: 2W, 7D, 4L = 13 points from 39

In half a season (19 games), Benitez had 19 points, Dyche has got us 17 points and Lampard 15.

I'm afraid the recent narrative is...got 3 good draws, then beaten by 2 good teams...tricky

Yep, they are good results, but seeing that we are still on 17 in 19, with a Liverpool game in the hand that is rather 17 in 20 than 20 in 20 makes this just a minor matter.

Forest and Bmouth have a better attack, but also a manager that found a way to make these squads better than they are on paper. They are not better by 16 and 22 points. Yes, these have invested more in the late years, but also have a manager that been shorter there than Dyche.

The only issue with those 13 game stats is that the other 2 managers did not start those seasons with 4 losses in 4.

In fact we won like 3 out of 4 with Benitez. That's why he got a little bit more time into January.

It doesn't matter what happens against Peterborough, we should be vocal about getting rid at that match. That would put loads of pressure on the hierarchy to act as the press/media would be all over it. Chants/banners. It's the only way to move this situation on. Let's face it, how can it be worse? We are heading for relegation as things stand. If anyone thinks he can pull out a run of 3 or 4 wins again then they are deluded.
