If Everton had proposed David Moyes as manager at the start of the season I would have been against it absolutely. Given how things have panned out with Sean Dyche I would take him in a heartbeat. Welcoming David Moyes back is a realistic indication of how far Everton have fallen.

If it’s Moyes that replaces Dyche I’d expect Thelwell to be given the boot when his contract is up as it would suggest yet another big decision has gone above his head.
