2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Seen the lad who given me good info in the past always right and he is hearing but states it’s a rumour that Dyche will be gone this week and replaced by Moyes on 6 months
Obviously anything is better than Dyche
- who I maintain is the least talented manager we've ever had - but I just can't see this.

Moyes won’t take 6 months. No way. I reckon he will be our manager by March, but I would be stunned if it was on a 6 month deal.

I would hope we would get something different. It would be so Everton to go back to a time when we weren't even that good (though miles better than we are now), rather than do something bold and different, but I have a feeling it will be Moyes.

Maybe they are copying what there doing at Roma with Raneri

6th of January is the last day of the Christmas period. Hopefully January 6th 2025 will also be Dyche out day.

As for people saying he did good last season, we went almost four months without a win at one point.

Us staying up comfortably last year was more to do with how poor the teams below us were, as opposed to anything good Dyche was doing imo.

If we wait until summer mate I am afraid it will be to late.

There is no doubt for me that Dyche needs to be replaced with the development of the recent months.

The question for me, is a long term candidate available right now willing to join, or will they try it with a proved experienced short term solution till summer like they do with Ranieri at Roma.

This would be Moyes or someone like that.

There is no real upside to keeping Dyche now. His awful football doesn’t even get results now, the best we are hoping for is scraping draws and they don’t look like being enough to keep us up. Lot's of the players seem to hate him (and I don’t blame them) and it sounds like the coaching and training set-up is poor and unprofessional.

Getting someone in now MIGHT save us (it might be too late already) but we’d probably see a lift in the players and if they bring in better behind the scenes processes, then even a small improvement in everyone could give us a bit of an advantage over the others at the bottom.
