2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Then we're down.

But we have aknoowm quantity in Dyche. That's the clincher for me.
But if they sack him when we are cemented in relegation zone rather than taking preventative action now, who will you be blaming for getting relegated?

The new owners for not making the decisive decision soon enough? Or the new manager for not saving us? Or for Dyche for being appalling this season?

My advice is to be careful what you wish for.

There's no way you can guarantee we get a manager in who can cope as well as Dyche has here for 2 years operating under the strain he's endured.

I would put it at 90% Dyche gets th required points to keep us up.

We are tough to beat and dont go on long losing streaks.

If these owners are wobbling on Dyche they better have around £50M/£60M to spend on players this window...and they better have a Plan B if that change goes disastrously wrong...which it stands a good chance of doing.

Dyche = safety
A.N.Other manager = risk

You cant say Dyche isnt a risk? he looks so far out of his depth. Plan A is not to lose, Plan B is non existent. he doesnt knowhow to win games.

Poor tactics, poor subs and really ban man management. His handling of Patterson, Beto and a few others has been really poor. Some players are starting to regress.

His season plan of scraping through is a massive risk, we have already lost a handful of games we should have won. Now he has to find points elsewhere. At this point we look like drawing or losing every game.

there is not a chance you can say sticking with Dyche isnt a risk.

"We are tough to beat and dont go on long losing streaks." - we dont go on winning streaks either!

So, you have only watched the last two games?
No, but the clamour to make a change wasn't happening when we beat Wolves 4-0 or drew with Arsenal, Chelsea and City was it?

It's a reaction in part to what happened prior to those four games, but primarily as a result of the last two games and how abject we've been.

Because it Myers, i think its a softening up toward making a decision if im honest, if hes briefed its a brief with a purpose, you should hear anon whether hes backed or its time to go.

The theory has always been that these players are better then they are showing under this manager - im not convinced about that at all - but it could be about to be tested, I'm uneasy about that because i believe this is a very deficient team on a number of metrics.
My issue with the player argument mate is that it's clear that they simply aren't being coached very well at a minimum, regardless of their perceived level of talent..
