Absolutely no thanks at all in the club statement, which regardless of how things have been of late he deserves for getting us away from relegation twice. Bit poor that, suggests something quite acrimonious has occurred.

That was the old sweet, loving Everton.

This is the new "you can't do the job then F off" Everton.

Really bizarre timing - suggests chaos behind the scenes.

I have a very bad feeling about who the next manager is going to be...

So, only half the job done so far - and even that has been half-arsed.

I feel this too, but not sure if it’s just years of ‘Everton that’…..
Hopefully there’s a pleasant suprise in store.

He'll forever have my thanks and respect for keeping us up, especially in 22/23 when I felt we'd be gone by March or something. I sincerely wish him every happiness in his life.

This season has been inexcusable though. Every manager, I feel, has that game that draws that seals their fate and it was Bournemouth at home earlier this season. It was correct to let him go imo, just hope the owners have a plan and implement it swiftly as we have a whole window to make use of as well.

I don’t like him but even I would have thanked him for keeping us up that first season.

But also, he has been sacked and maybe there’s been stuff said or something happen behind the scenes that’s severed any goodwill towards him etc
