Can't agree with all that mate

Yes he did a good job to prevent us being relegated.

However the suggestion that he has put foundations in place for the new manager is laughable

Not everyone will agree that’s fine.

I saw squad after squad down tools under multiple different managers. Players walking round the pitch, arguing with fans, laughing at shots missed, ridiculous lack of discipline, comedy goalkeeping, fitness was in the toilet, blokes weren’t wearing shin pads in training or even to come on in a match.

He stopped all of that and gave us back a hard working team that even to a few games ago were still giving everything against Arsenal City and Chelsea.

He was always going when the new owners took over, I’d much rather be picking up what he’s leaving now than the dumpster fire he picked up in Jan 23.

I don’t like him but even I would have thanked him for keeping us up that first season.

But also, he has been sacked and maybe there’s been stuff said or something happen behind the scenes that’s severed any goodwill towards him etc

Honestly don't care... He got paid 5m per season and never respected the fans or the club anyways, reap what you soe.

Got paid did what he was paid for, now failing so bye bye.

Doesn't matter, they still should be professional and thank him/wish him well.

Classless, and this clubs current custodians - the comms team and new owners need to do better.
They did the same with Gordon when we sold him. And there was definitely stuff going on behind the scenes with him. I agree though, it should be better.
