2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

That's an absolutely classless statement, surprised.

They need to do better then that.
They've handled it all so badly so far.

If they were going to sack him, he should have been sacked on Monday at the latest. Let's say Tuesday to allow for cross-Atlantic flights.

But now?

I'm nervous now about the "succession". There doesn't seem to have been a plan ready for execution. The only thing they have executed is Dyche...

Does that hint someone is already lined up??

Really bizarre timing - suggests chaos behind the scenes.

I have a very bad feeling about who the next manager is going to be...

So, only half the job done so far - and even that has been half-arsed.
Why does it suggest chaos?

I’d say it shows how ruthless they are

They might also of thought it would give most fans/ players a lift?

I don’t like him but even I would have thanked him for keeping us up that first season.

But also, he has been sacked and maybe there’s been stuff said or something happen behind the scenes that’s severed any goodwill towards him etc

Doesn't matter, they still should be professional and thank him/wish him well.

Classless, and this clubs current custodians - the comms team and new owners need to do better.

I was never a fan and didn’t want him as a manager. He has been here and we are still in the Premier League so he deserves credit for that. This year has been a disaster and his sacking has been a forgone conclusion for a while. I would have let him go first thing Monday morning not hours before a game. I am content he has gone, hopefully Stoney and Woany are also dismissed.
Now we have seen that TFG are looking for change, the coming days will show us just how much it will be a change for the better. New manager and new players.

They asked him to resign Sunday because he told the board he'd taking the team as far as he could....be he refused.

He's basically held us up till he got what he wanted.

Or there's been an unholy bust-up.
Whatever the reason for the timing and the tenor of the statement, none of us know what's really been going on behind the scenes. What if Dyche forced their hand with how he was acting toward them or something? I mean, there's way too much unknown to be judging them too harshly on this. It's not as if they called him names or anything.
