2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

To be honest as soon as he made that comment about smelling trouble against Bournemouth when he did nothing to stop things going wrong he was on a slippery slope. Lost his appetite for the job and it showed.
I thought it'd been pretty clear for a while now that he's been phoning it in. Frankly, I'm rather taken aback that so many people think he's been hard at the grindstone this whole season, scratching and clawing for ways to score goals and win games.

I mean, he was setting out the same team and tactics week after week no matter the opposition or the location of the game, with only minor tweaks forced by injuries / suspensions. How anybody could watch us for the last six months and think that the manager was trying his absolute hardest is beyond me!

So, no, it wouldn't shock me if he basically went in to that meeting and gave up to their faces but just didn't have the stones to do the right thing and resign.

What would happen to this sentiment that he did such a great job last year and deserves our eternal thanks for that if things continued on the current trajectory this season and we got relegated?

Cause that's where it was headed.

Baines showed the clown how to change tactics. Embarrassing for Dyche.

Luton need a manager he'd fit right in there.
What 5-4-1? Don’t try to tell me that was 3 at the back. Thought it was a dreadful performance again tonight. Too many times our 3 at the back were in a straight 5 against league 1 opponents.might not show on tv

Did you miss the hoofball?
The goals get on your nerves or something.
We won and are in the next round be happy

Its was Peterboroough. And we laboured to a win. At home.

This lot are tat.

And unless we get 2/3players in this month we'll be dancing on that trapdoor.

How anyone was impressed by that tat there tonight I dont know.

Telling your new bosses you have taken the club as far as you can when you have won 3 out of 19 and have scored one of the lowest amount of goals in 4 divisions is probably not the wisest thing to do especially when they are known to be quite ruthless. Being safe after so many poor runs and getting away with continuous excuses and blame dodging had gone to his head.

Interesting to see what happens next.
