Wonder if he knew the writing was on the wall for the end of the season and just thought sod it - might as well walk now and save myself the hassle of a stressful few months with no reward.

The timing is obviously very strange and I would be surprised if the owners didn't want to let this play out as long as possible in the hope they could do their homework and get their man in the summer.

Yes.

That was tripe.

Are people that desperate to make it look like the football was better tonight than under Dyche, when we just scraped past a Division One team who are terrible in that division?

Amazing.
It probably wasn't any better but Dyche has already selected the team. Baines & Coleman couldn't do too much except to tell them to be on the front foot a bit more. It was not a good game it was like a normal Dyche game but too get rid of the Dyche habits won't come in 3hrs 11mins before the game

We are going to Wembley. What will be will be.
We're off to Wembley
To see the famous EFC.
I hope we are mate.

But I cant see it with this lot. They're tripe apart from Ndiaye, Branthwaite, Pickford and Tarkowski.

We need three very good class players in this month or we're heading into the Championship.

And if any new manager tries to play football with this lot we'll be relegated by Easter. They're just not up to it...as the last manager knew very well.

Dyche has never played 3 at the back.
Dyche goes and hey presto we play 3 at the back.
I believe it was one of the tactical tweaks that Baines referred to.
Make your own mind up.
He did away to Burnley.

The players would have been working on shape in training in the lead up to the game. No manager is coming in and making dramatic changes when they get the job 3 hours before kickoff.

I suspect the owners know this, hence the conversation with Moyes.

Moyes only had a decent defensive record after he; been here fir years.

Moyes des everything at a snaiils pace and will expect to oversee transfers.

We needed a manager with experience, yes, but with a few players in tow and who can act quickly in the transfer market.

It's a no on every level with Moyes for me.
