thoughts @davek on dyche even admitting it was the right time for him to leave the club

FFS how can you get a retreat out of that dignified statement.

Dyche has cemented his place in our managerial history.

A straight arrow who never flanneled Everton supporters and pretended he was a lifelong Evertonian, or even is one now.

Just did his job and was sacked.

I wish all our managers would react in that way.

Compare him with this present manager...a man with disdain for Everton when he joined United but who now pretends he's one of us. 🐀 🐀 🐀

He is a stain on our history. A manager no one will remember fondly with a terrible record irrespective of his resources. He will never manage a club our size again.

The wrong person was sacked...thelwell should have been the first to go. It's January 15th and still no signings it's unacceptable...

I highly doubt he was ever asked to progress anything. It was keep us up thanks. I’d say just two more wins this season and they wouldn’t have bothered changing
Why didn't we keep him then? Sounds like he was worth keeping according to you. 8 wins in a year. 3 wins in 19 games this season.

Yeah, really good job.

To give the benefit of the doubt it's hard to know from the outside what parameters he's working in.

I don't particularly rate the majority of his signings but it's difficult to say with certainty that someone else would undoubtedly be doing better. The overarching transfer policy coming from the top of the club has been sell off the family silver and get what you can for free or Buy Now, Pay Later.
