2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Dyche hardcore fans should be worried that Moyes managed to find more answers to lack of chance creation/goals in 1 week than Dyche in 6 months playing more or less the same eleven.
I wanted Sean Dyche gone with a few weeks.
We hear about a manager losing the dressing room and generally that is nonsense.
However, in this instance I think there may be some truth there.
I think the players generally liked the manager but had lost faith in what he was trying to do.

Clearly there will be players delighted to see him gone. JOB and Patterson being two but that will happen at every club when a manager leaves.

Nonetheless I appreciate what he did inthe previous two seasons and wish him well in the future as long as it isn't against Everton.

The new manager has come in and it’s clearer what we want to do. Everyone is on the same page, the fans are behind us and everything just clicked.” - Ndiaye

“I would say it is my best performance for Everton. I felt good and, of course, that gives you confidence. When I have the ability and freedom to go high and do something on my own, it gives you freedom and the whole team freedom. I think I have more to give to the team.” - Lindstrom

Two comments from the weekend & I’m sure there is/will be more.

Who was on here laughing at the idea that Dyche was massively under coaching these? Funny that init.

Pretty damning that tbh.

As is the fact that not one of them has publicly come out to thank him, just a walk of silence.

There are players like Doucoure or Harrison, where I barely have hope they will be a major improvement under a better manager. But there were clearly two groups formed at the end, the Ndiaye and Lindström statement pretty much confirmed, why much went wrong.

As there was no thank you in the release statement, which I think was a bit poor though for me, indicates he didn't part on best terms with the board neither.

Michael Keane came out and thanked him.

😂
I'm eagerly awaiting Patterson's remarks.

He'll probably keep it short, sweet and subtle. Something like...

...Should be sufficient enough, I'd imagine.

Your man Moyes was very complimentary about Dyche. Unless of course he’s a fraud too?

What else is he going to say Chico.

Imagine if he had told the truth...

"Dyche is S, his tactics were from the dinosaur era and the players bar Keane hated him?"

The press, who only watch us when we play Liverpool, would have had a field day.

And once again, "your man" not OUR man.

What else are you hiding?

Hi mate, any idea how these players were able to press high, get players around Calvert Lewin and play joined up football especially after Seanie said he couldn’t possibly get any more from them? How come only Michael Keane has expressed his gratitude to him and the rest of them have expressed thinly veiled criticism of the way he managed? Can you ask your bestie next time you go for a drink please (I assume Dyche drinks mead and none of that modern muck)?

#thankyouchico

Nuts and bolts.

Publicly, yes Chic's.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch:
Moyes On The Horn.webp

'Sean, that you mate?! You left all your assless, gimp leather bondage suits and strap-on dildos in your locker in the changing room, you ABSOLUTE plonker!!!! Come and fetch NOW, or I'm chucking them all in the bin! It's f'ing disgusting and disturbing! The lads have seen them all now, and are traumatised, to say the least!'

Well, he didn't have to bring him up, unprompted, repeatedly across multiple interviews.

He also didn't need to consult with him after becoming Everton manager.

Thanks for keeping us up that first season.

Thanks for putting us in a relegation fight last season and then keeping us up. (Would be a kopite thing to do to blame anyone else - or so I’m told).

Thanks for putting us in a relegation fight this season.
Harsh this mate - 48 points. He didn't put us in a relegation fight last season. Moshiri and the Premier League did.
