2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

So what? I couldn’t care less if he thinks I specially am a keyboard warrior, that’s his opinion. Just like I think he’s a terrible football manager and a stain on our history. Opinions innit.

Let me redirect the conversation back to its original course anyway. You made a suggestion that he’s never hinted at any sort of dislike for the fanbase, which is very clearly not true, as shown above.
I don't believe what he said was any indication that he hated the fan base. I'm an Everton fan (which you prob find hard to believe) but sections of the fan base annoy me, are we not allowed to say anything about them?

I believe the fact he’s made multiple sarcastic and snappy remarks about the fanbase spanning the course of two years, indicates that he has a problem with them.

I'd tend to agree with the proviso we stay up this season (which we will).

We're above the drop now with a game in hand, under new owners and a transfer window in which we have the ability to spend.

I think if we go down now, and it would only reaffirm the job he done when he come in and kept us up from 19th with our lowest ever points total in our history an that stage, and last season with deductions.

At best he was indifferent to fans. Which considering the club such as Everton that leans heavy into local fan base, more than others as in season tickets and prices. Was remarkable misjudgment by Dyche.

Yeah and Alex Ferguson and Wenger never said they hated each other either. It’s not something you just casually say.

Dyche has referred to keyboard warriors, “real fans”, complained about fans leaving early, made up expectations about fans expecting Europe, said he could “smell something” referring to a nervous energy in the ground that he created with his own pathetic subs. So yes he has repeatedly had digs at the fans throughout his time here.

Honestly if that’s your evidence for ‘having a go at the fans’ you really need to stop being so paranoid. Managers say this sort of stuff all the time.
