I would keep him no matter what happens Sunday.
It would be a miracle you get this lot safe.
He hasn't bought anyone.
The mentality of this squad was shot under lampard, they were beat before the kicked off most weeks,
First time in my life I have accepted we would get beat before a ball was kicked that's how bad lampard had sunk us.
We look like a team at least, he has his faults, but he has been thrown into a pressure cooker position and made a go of it.
For me it would be madness to get rid of him.

Agreed, he's probably the most 'solid' manager we've had since Moyes. We have to give him a transfer window and full summer training regardless of what league we are in

I think the problem with keeping him over the summer is there would be no progression. I’m not expecting us to turn into city but why not try implementing some new methods with the ball so we’ve got a plan b and at least attempt in some games to play out from the back like all the best sides do. I believe he’s too stubborn to try it and will continue to play the way we’re playing, hoofing it up the pitch and hoping for knockdowns and playing from there is not a strategy. There’s the point the players might not be up to adapting to playing from the back, however if you’d had said 18-24 months ago Lewis dunk could do it you wouldn’t have believed it. With the right coaching and trying new things it is possible to advance ,I can’t see him doing that.

His 1st MO is keep us in the league by any way necessary, it's difficult to implement progressive football on a side in the middle of a dog fight whose squad isn't his or been trained to his spec. You have to give him time, I do have faith in him to look to turn us into a stable club for next season, which right now is what we need.

Whether we should replace Dyche in the summer or not really comes down to two things

1. Will we still be a Premier League team?

2. Who will be available as a potential replacement?

You'd think the first one would have a pronounced effect on the second one
With the current owners, he has to stay because he is our best option for squeezing everything we can out of this limited squad.

If we were sold or get investment, he should go because his limitations would severely hold us back. Like Moyes, he revels in the 'underdog' status.

The mistake we made was keeping Lampard.
No disrespect to Dyche if he keeps us up, but we may want to find ourselves another Moyes
I don't think we can risk getting rid of him if we stay up, his points per game isn't bad and would be enough to keep us up if he had a full season.

Dyche is literally the closest thing we've had to Moyes, that's if you want a safe pair of hands to keep you in the league, i'm pretty confident he would over a full season. I know we want more than just staying up but after the last 2 years a mid table finish wouldn't be terrible.

I'm sick of us blaming managers and continuing to be unstable from a leadership point of view due to terrible players. It annoys me even seeing talk of Dyche going really.
Lampards ceiling was high for some people based on no evidence. This man has come in and done a better job and people want rid. The football isn't even 'ugly' when we're at full strength
