Waiting until 4 games to go to play Mina

Giving Simms his chance vrs Liverpool & Man Utd away but no other game (almost like he was trying to prove a point he's not good enough)

The lack of use of Demari Gray (he's not great but we dont have many other options)

Iwobi (our most creative central midfielder) being played on the wing (especially when Doucoure was suspended)

Godfrey & Holgate at right back ahead of Patterson

Conor Coady completely ostrasized from the side

Maupay in general

Substitutions
Not a popular opinion on here but Patterson is way out of his depth. He may have one or two decent games now and again and I get he’s still young and has time to progress but I don’t think he’s what we need there right now.

Bournemouth were a lot worse than us and their manager turned it around but apparently Dyche had an impossible job...with 18 games left. just hope we stay up and go from there, we can't let this happen again.
Some fans are acting like we were 10 points from safety with 10 games to go, yes he’s done well to be fair and got us results, with some pretty poor performances. One thing definitely in question is the style, the tactics, the subs. And the fact if we concede first he doesn’t seem to know how to get us back in it

Villa Went and got Emery, potter and Rodger’s are available who play a better brand of football. And some seem over the moon that Sean dyche is our manager. I just hope the new owners and board have a plan and will look to implement straight away.

For me I want a manager who wants to play the right way, look at Brentford, Brighton. Dyche’s style will never be successful long term, I know the old argument about keeping Burnley up and getting them into Europe, which must be 10yrs ago. The prem is different now all teams have money, I can’t see the fans putting up with watching long ball football with 35% possession at home v the likes of Brentford and Brighton. The game against Brentford, the 2nd half they had something like 80% at goodison that’s embarrassing.

I just don’t want to have 2yrs of dogged football, Witt Dyche buying players that suit his style and then we rip it up and start again with a totally different manager and style. We need to hopefully stay up Sunday and get the new board in and fingers crossed they know what they’re doing and we get a manager who’s not stuck in the 90’s. And if he doesn’t work you get the next manager who plays the same way.

Why should we as a club just shrug our shoulders and say, let’s just have a few seasons finishing 13th/14th

Lampard did better in the relegation run in mate! But pretty similar.
Dyche has 18 points in 17 games
Lampard had 20 points in 18 games (including the Arsenal last day result)

The Dyche backers will say Lampard had Richarlison in the run in/ a better side!
Id argue Tarkowski/McNeil are good additions to that side last year!

Good post from you though, which is exactly the same boat im in! Say thankyou to Dyche for keeping us up. But avoid making the same mistakes we made in the past
Yeah Richie was good, but McNeil has been a game changer in recent weeks. We also have better CBs and a better midfield now.

I keep seeing that Dyche has had harder fixtures than Lampard had, but they have both had half a season. So there is surely a decent amount of winnable games for both yet neither have taken them. And Dyche has missed several opportunities to turn his draws into wins.

I don’t know the right answer and do want some stability, but maybe new owners/board members will have a direction they want.

Yup. You'd imagine Dyche spent a small fortune in the transfer market - like his popular predecessor - such is the standard he is being held to. I just wish we had these standards last November...

If we stay up, Dyche'll stay. If we drop, the board will want their scapegoat.
A new board and potential owner, may want to stamp their mark on the club straight away. There’s no guarantee dyche stays if we survive

Don't know how you can all judge our managers right now.
We have a dreadful squad. Most of them don't even know how to play football.

35 points will be the maximum number of points needed to survive this year. If we can't achieve that target then we 100% deserve to go down, and Dyche will have failed in his objective. We have been fortunate that a lower number of points is required this year, and that our rivals have performed so poorly. Otherwise we could already have been out of the running.

It's a big test of the manager on Sunday under pressure and we will learn whether he is up to managing Everton. We need clarity of thought and good decision making in a big game with high stakes. We cannot afford for the manager to make in game mistakes like the previous few games.

Come on mate , if we stay up it will be because Southampton, Leeds and Leicester are absolutely crap not because Dyche is the 2nd coming of Pep.

Yes the squad is atrocious and yes the team looks a little bit more organised and motivated since he came in but honestly that's about it.

If we stay up it's due to the incompetance of others bar one result v Brighton.

He was also hated by the Burnley players that said he was a Dinasour of a manager, he lost the dressing room there before he was sacked
I know a player that spoke really highly of him.
Maybe towards the end of his tenure but during the majority of his career he was well thought of. He turned most of them from average championship players into premier league players, with salaries to go with it.
Most players are grateful.

Well why are you advocating not playing a RB at RB when he played two awful Cbs then?
Because he’s not good enough 🤷‍♂️

Let me elaborate for you, if he’s the best option we have then we obviously have to play him. Personally though I don’t think he’s the answer to our full back position right now, maybe in 12-18 months he may have settled and have improved but what I’ve seen of him so far hasn’t really inspired any confidence.

But I never mentioned any of them did I ?

Well yes? Because your saying Patterson shouldn't play and Coleman is is injured so that only leaves holgate and Godfrey, who are both awful Cbs, never mind full backs.

Go back to bed Kurt you'd have a stinker here
