Yeh doesn't take us down next year, but it needs to exponentially improve otherwise all those teams below us spend and overtake.
When you say ‘exponentially’, what exactly are your expectations?

Compared to lampard’s ppg which was 0.9 (with an easier stretch of games), dyche’s ppg extrapolated to +10 points over the course of a whole season.

That’s the difference he made without a window and without a pre season and with a more difficult stretch of games.

How many points do you think is par?

Regardless of the comments on here he has kept us up and deserves next season to try and help us kick on . New money , hopefully new board and recruitment team and we are still there fighting. COYB 💙

Need more than that I reckon

Striker, fullbacks, cb and atleast one winger is an absolute must
Yeah i think we will need to spend on a CB. We have one coming back off loan that can hopefully slot in. Coady is also a good player so if we can get him for 4m or what ever it was we should. We lose Mina who was probably our best CB when fit tho so that’s a shame and I don’t care what happens with Keane Holgate or Godfrey sell them all if we could.

Lampard 0.75 ppg for the season 2022/23 hence he was sacked.

The way I see it, I’m comforted by that as a baseline.

It’s enough. Just.

Hopefully we are able to make some sensible, if undramatic, steps forward with the squad over the summer. We don’t need much, just a few round pegs for round holes.

That would be enough to deliver a few more points - by which time we could have the top ten in our sights again.

That’s hardly scorching ambition, I grant you, but we need a stable platform after years of turbulence. Maybe Dyche can provide that.

One of these in bronze, please.

I recall from an away game at Burnley (which embarrassingly ended in defeat for the Super Frankies) there was a boozer close to the ground called the Royal Dyche. I hope we take him to heart because the rebuild at Everton is monumental and he may well get offers from other clubs in the next few years... For the first time in years I feel a 5 year contract is actually appropriate. We need to nail our colours to the mast and say Dychey baby, you are our man. We need each other!

How much better are we expecting given the resources available?

Moreover, can you please name names of who you think would do a better job?

They’re waiting to see who wins a few games next season before providing this, or if there’s any managers in an obscure European league they’re confident no one will watch. Just waiting for that Norwegian teenage manager big oil wanted to be snapped up by the PL elite this window.
