Doucore was solid under every manager except for Frank who was proven to be clueless. He isn’t perfect, he is sometimes running on fumes and makes brain farts, wasn’t worth his price, etc. But overall he has been a good player here and obviously hasn’t been the problem. It’s always revisionist history for those who have to be right. Is he the answer? Not long term certainly. But he is solid.

He is more than solid for a team out of possession.

He does my head in whenever we are in possession. His passing accuracy must be 50%

He excels in a bottom half side who only seeks to win by outworking the other side. That's what we are, particularly under Dyche.

It is what it is

I'm just not going to call him more than what he actually is

Tbh I don't know why we haven't made a flag of the lad. He kept us up last season.

Passing percentage is 85%, 79% then 79% third year. For somebody that takes as many risks as him and works that hard, that is slightly above average. He is not remotely as poor as people make him out to be in that department. His giveaways just stick out because he is goofy

Am I missing something or is 15th in the form table supposed to be good now? He’s been just about better than Frank Lampard who’s one of the worst managers in the history of the game. I’ll wait and see where we are in November before I judge him.
He might not get to November, if the club don't sort these transfers out & we get thumped in the first 4 games he's gone.

Me too. Far too many people seemingly too happy to race to worship at the alter of Dyche because the former Barca Burnley man managed a whopping 5 wins out of 18 and overcame an insurmountable 1 point deficit was it with half a season still to play.

For all his interview soundbites that seemingly have half the fan base in love with him, we all know exactly what happens if we're in the bottom 3 come January.

Reckon Dyche sat at home now, with the worst post holiday/Sunday blues ever.
The man is six months into 2.5 year contract of employment worth £100,000 per week at a Premier League club after being unemployed for a year having won about 4 of 30 games the last time he had a job.

Doubt he cares one iota whether he's at Glasto or Finch Farm tbh, it's all golden either way for him.

To be far it's not as bad as last summer when some people were claiming Lampard as the second coming.
