I just wish that certain lads would get off Dyche's back.
We are in a perilous financial position , with a seriously limited squad of players.
When you combine that with the most incompetent boardroom in the whole of football , we need to keep a clear focus on surviving this season , and NOT on playing hipster , wishful football .
He will put out on the pitch a physically fit and committed group of players who will all be putting in a shift.
This may not be to everyone's taste but we need to be realistic over what he has to work with.
With cuddly Bill leading our negotiations , it is unlikely that he will be given many more tools to work with before the end of the window , and we will all have been let down again , as we were in the last window.
I feel much more confident that he will get the best he can out of the squad , and certainly much more than his idiotic predecessor.
Hopefully it will be enough.

I have faith in Dyche to keep us stable I don't have faith in those above him to provide him with the tools he needs
That stopped being enough in the PL 5 years ago. There isn’t a team in the league who have thought that was enough that haven’t gone down.
I agree that is not enough on its own , but it is still a constituent part / requirement , and something that was sadly lacking under certain previous managers e.g. Lampard , Martinez , Silva.

The board are clearly convinced Dyche is one of the greatest managers of all time. With the complete lack of any backing, they are putting the PL status and thus value of the club up against purely his ability to get a tune out of previously poor players, while selling talent from under him.
Yeah but also similar to Moyes he’s capable of putting out teams that play some good stuff and doesn’t get enough credit.
We wont see tiki taka possession football but honestly I find that boring and so does the Goodison crowd - when we get the ball we will attack at speed with intent

Attacking at speed and with intent is something we haven’t seen in a long time.
Everybody remembers the Brighton game because all the attacks resulted in goals but Dyche has always been about quick transition from a tight defence to an attack it’s just quite often our attacks broke down last season.
