We have literally been screaming for crosses all season as that’s what DCL thrives on. Our main issue is our wide players hesitate and turn back round instead of crossing.Clearly I was being facetious, however we won't be getting any actual footballers in under Dyche, will we? We'll be getting crossing machines and grocks because Dyche only plays one style of football. Get it wide, get it in the box. A style of football that hasn't worked in the premier league for a very long time.
Remember when we had Carlo ancelotti and James Rodriguez? That feels like a hundred years ago ?Well, they'll get their wish now.
Wouldn't be too concerned about that tbh. He just needs to keep us up and build from there.
"he's one of us" is by far the worst shout.
He's a southern Tory Chelsea legend who played a 2nd string side in the cup when we have nothing to play for in the league.
How exactly is he one of us ?
Get this imposter of a manager gone tonight.
Tory shyster.
The saddest part of our impending relegation is that a section of our fans cheered whilst a Southern Tory buried us.
What a depressing 12 months of football it has been.
Compare and contrast the fume in the ground to our past 5 sacked managers to Lampard.
Sir Farhad, the board and players getting untold stick at Goodison.
Not a peep about the Tory getting his arse handed to him every single week by gash opposition.
How can an Evertonian continue to back a man thats sending us down after spending £90 millions in the summer?
On top of that he's a Tory who's political ideology has damaged our city for generations.
It astounds me the support he's receives.
If he once upon time had managed Liverpool or was over 50 he'll have been legged weeks ago by the fans.
Biesla is at least a Socialist.
Far better than the Tory we've just endured.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is made of biscuits. We have literally been screaming for crosses all season as that’s what Dominic Calvert-Lewin thrives on. Our main issue is our wide players hesitate and turn back round instead of crossing.
I'm not convinced we're not sitting right here in 12 months time looking for another manager only having a significantly worse squad comprised of 30 year old english "grafters who work their socks off". It's a backwards appointment in a time where the league is moving on and we continue to fall behind. I hope that i'm proved wrong and Dyche is some tactical genius that was shackled by Burnley's finances but I just don't see it right now.Not particularly defending dyche but I think that argument actually works much better the other way round. All these people saying ‘at least it’d be fun’ under bielsa are living in cloud cuckoo land. Absolutely nobody thought it was fun when Martinez was bringing on extra strikers at 2-0 up and down to 10 men before losing 3-2. Nobody thought it was fun when we went to anfield and tried to go toe to toe with them only for them to obliterate us and have about 50 shots in beating us 4-0. Fans would be happy winning playing safety first and unhappy at losing playing gung ho, as you’d expect.
Interesting to see the most he ever spent on a player was 16 mill.
Quite amazing what he did on his budget and some of the players he signed.
Bet you don'tI shall mate.
And he may well relegate us and they will be in the PL next year.Good job we employed the guy who relegated that well run club then, eh?
It’s been going on for years. The fans have chased every creative player we have had over the last 8 years out of the club.
Good valid point......taken Bournemouth down so deemed not good enough without looking at circumstances, budget etc. Howe like Dyche worked small miracles keeping them in the PL for so longHope all the lads who were turning their noses up at Eddie Howe a couple of years ago are happy now
Like shooting fish in a barrel.
I will mate. I am either going to be eating humble pie or rub your face in it.Bet you don't
That's my point. Dyche = relegation. No Dyche = probably relegation but maybe not.And he may well relegate us and they will be in the PL next year.
