2022/23 Sean Dyche

Oh yeah because I'm purely concerned with seeing Sean Dyche hold up an Everton shirt, couldn’t give a toss about us signing anyone or us going down, because clearly it’s a one or the other scenario.

Do you genuinely not understand how poor it makes the club looks? You act concerned about lack of signings and us being in the relegation zone, is Dyche taking training at the minute, is Dyche actually talking to players? Is he off for a few days before starting? Has he met the current players yet?

We don’t know any of the answers to these questions becuase it’s been nothing but media speculation because the club hasn’t said anything about it, that’s why it’s an issue you loon.

We will have a press conference tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

As for media speculation it's just that. Stop being insecure and so sensitive about everything and grow a backbone yer flump.

Yeah but it just doesn't inspire confidence to me.

We know he's boxed off. I get that, but it feels chaotic behind the scenes.

I say feels.

We all know it is.
It should be a well-practiced exercise at this point (sacking/hiring managers), yet it screams that we are full of people who dont know what they are doing and it takes us an age to get the most basic things done.

He's done, it's just that this club are hoping to spend all tomorrow announcing him. I suspect that's because we'll see very little movement in the coming days in the transfer market.

Getting Dyche in and one striker (and one out the door) is looking to me at this stage to be the limit of the club's activities this January. If so, they've sunk us.

We'll see £20M spent on a forward and the rest of the Gordon cash covering the managerial sacking and whatever else is left banked.

I hope I'm wrong. VERY wrong.
I agree with you.

We wasted so much time and resources waiting on Lampard and deciding on Dyche, while the squad sat and rotted. We're firmly in the 'throw big money at crap in desperation' zone again. The same old dithering and wasting time and money which got us into this mess persists.

You have got to laugh really though that the board are under bad fire for poor comms and they are still pop corning us.

PRENTICE OUT

Fans are fans 24/7
Employees of this club, only work certain hours.

Can imagine there is all sorts of posturing and positioning between the snakes at the top too as to who is owning this decision and what good looks like and what will be deemed failure.

I expect changes will be made within 18 games of pretty much all senior positions at the club.

I doubt they have a welcome presser for Sean Dyche.

Pretty sure they've only done introductory pressers four times in the last eight years.

- Lukaku signing in 2014
- Rooney in 2017
- Ancelotti in 2019
- James in 2020

Dyche's first presser will be Friday.

I hope you're right.

Listening to the Iranian the other day he very definitley mentioned "a striker..if needed".

That didn't strike me as the words of a man who gets the severity of the situation.
In fairness, he didn't.

He said, 'we need a striker, we will get one'.

Keep in mind like that video was filmed before the West Ham game, and Danjuma was 'through the door' at that stage.
